im thinking wanna get xbox or ps2. actually i like xbox more bcoz there r a few games exclusively exists in xbox platform only. e.g ninja gaiden, deadoralive, rumble roses, halo2... n many

and the graphic is nicer compare to ps2. even ps2 has alot games...

but i found many shop stop selling xbox, they are focusing on xbox360 which is out of my budget, i afraid i cannot find a place to buy xbox games.

They stop selling not because they don't want to sell, but because Microsoft has stopped producing Xbox and concentrate on Xbox 360.

I'm not sure where to find it. But last time, Xbox was priced between RM 600 - RM 700 with 1 controller (some shop give 2 controllers).

Yeah it quite hard to find one nowdays. I wonder what the price will be. I have one that only used for media centre. I got a broken one also. Where can i sell this broken one. (The motherboard fried, other part ok) It got nice transparent black casing, or white (I can change with my current one)

(2) Xbox ahem still got. ori is non-existent unless u order online. Even online maybe hard to find coz it's slowly phasing out. Best bet...to sapu all ahem before it's too late!!!

Personally i think xbox still worth it..compare with xbox360 and i do have both of them so after playing around with this 2 consoles..i think xbox still the best...

1) Graphic unless u have HDTV Widesreen (normal HDTV okay but widescreen the best)
2) 360 mahal..hehehe
3) xbox 360 backward compatibility (pasal nie aku simpan lagi xbox lama aku cis )
4) 360 still new so there still some bug that have to fix..heat problem la..apala..(aku tengah standby my 360 buat hal ke tak heheh)
5) No Halo 3 (till next year hehehe )

if you want all round X-perience, get the xbox...
modded ones=great media center (awesomeness if combined with Wide HDTV / Plasma)..
sometimes i gatal, i borrowed my dads office's dell projector and run it at 720p, i got my own personal cinema in my room...huehuehue....
x360 got awesome graphics, not total media center yet....it'll be a total media center if it can directly process divx movies....
want hd movie on x360, need WinXP MCE stream to x360...haih...for me abit leceh like this....some more only HDWMV, cool but i prefer divx...
that's why i wait for more support on x360 despite games...hehe..

to add..it wasnt the graphic im interested in the 1st place,that comes 2nd..IMO..the proc..can process a more aggresive AI..means..harder to win..

transcode360 is your answer to encode divx in 16:9 aspect ratio and real time but still need XP MCE

can. modded xbox with XBMC installed can play almost anything. . I rarely use that now to play games, just to watch movie and play some media.

It's 480i on normal TV. On HDTV it's 480p, 720p, or 1080i. But it's kind of hard to find Xbox 1 game that supports 1080i, most of them support only 480p or 720p.

i got my xbox by FOC swap with my 4yrs old PS2.....i think its worth it to swap my ps2....hehe

juz ask around forum guys here, mine also get from them... most of the DVD can be read, it is a good media center... the problem is some ahem DVD might need to be loaded a few times...

If you want to play old games its fine to go for XBOX. But very few good games are coming for it and some of them are even canceled(Rockstar's Bully).

I think PS2 would be a good deal for you if you consider playing new games (No Halo and Xbox live though).

No cannot. old xbox has special power conector that is very not the same with normal dvd-rom. you need the original drive as reboot function.

no. am not xbox xpert. i just know certain things. for this one u may try the component to VGA converter and play it in your monitor. that is the cheapest way to get good video provided you are using good converter not the cap ayam one.

since xbox does not support display directly to monitor like xbox 360 that is the least we can do.
