I'm currently taking MPhil (Accounting). Also, she advised that consistency is very important. I'm actually a part time student (full-time working as a lecturer for the pre-uni department in the uni...teaching hours is 20 hours per week). Anyone of you here is actually taking PhD/MPhil on a part time basis? How do you ensure that you will always be consistent in your study? For e.g in my case, when I have 4-6 hours of class per day, normally when I got back home, I will be too tired to touch anything on research already How do you motivate yourself to get up and get it done? Early thanks for sharing advise/experience. I need to learn from my fellow seniors here. mycolumn, Do you teach 7 days per week?? If not, you could either A) Do research on the days that you do not teach or, B) Do research on weekend. Just pick a time slot for the week and stick to it.
