Cool. Will wait for your pics. biggrin.gif

BTW, anybody can answer my previos question? sweat.gif
If a Zippo is fully-fueled, and sometimes it can't be lit no matter how many times you try to light it, what kind of problems would cause this to happen?
*
Yalor, happens when u over filled. U fill till it is dripping right??

Normally u just fill till the sponge look wet, a little bit watery can liao.

If over filled, try leave it open for a while, then it should be ok.

added....brand new zippo also won't peform that well.It need some time to season it. So the sponge can hold more fluid.

I don't really know if over-filled. But usually after i fill, when i turn it flat down on the table, the fuel seem to leak out. So i guess it's over-filled. sweat.gif
Thanks for the information. Will try to just add a little bit of fuel in. notworthy.gif

Thanks for the suggestion. Will try this too. thumbup.gif
Well, also, i wonder how long can the wick last when it's black? maybe that is why my lighter is having a hard time to light. ohmy.gif

just look around at shops at shopping complexes. i bought mine from a watch shop in 1Utama. the shop is located under the TGV cinema.
and remember, always ask for best price. the retail prices are usually jacked up.

Well i bought my first Zippo in 2000 and the next one in 2001

so i have 2 Zippo:

1) "Our Century"

The last Zippo® Collectible of the century!

Each year of Our Century marks a multitude of milestones for millions of people. 1932 is flanked by stars on the pewter emblem, and set off in bold red on the collector's tin, in recognition of Zippo's founding. With a brand new satin finish and suitably classic emblem, it's ours to celebrate Our Century.

Production of the Our Century commemorative is limited to just 150,000 worldwide. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity and Zippo's lifetime guarantee that "it works or we fix it for free". The Y2K lighter was limited to 100,000 pieces worldwide. The "Our Century" collectible comes in a similar tin as did the Y2K Titanium collectible of the year.

(Photos taken from ebay...i dun have my own pict but its the similar models)

And the next one is:

2) "Keeper Of The Flame"

For it's 2000 Collectible of the Year Zippo honored one of the most magical and essential elements known to man...fire. The millennium edition Keeper of the Flame lighter symbolizes respect, power, and control over man's most vital element. Prehistoric man discovered fire, but Zippo has perfected it.
"Keeper of the Flame" is ninth in the series of limited edition Collectibles of the Year. The lighter features a first of its kind, earth-toned, embossed, genuine leather medallion encased in an antique brass frame on a classic brushed chrome lighter. A special bottom stamp and certificate of authenticity validates the lighter as a genuine millennium edition Zippo lighter. The leather stamp that appears on the lighter is graphically reproduced on the round keepsake tin. Because every Zippo lighter is guaranteed for life, you will forever be the Keeper of the Flame.

watch shops normally sell it...normally near Pertama Complex Or Plaza Campbell have lotsa shops tat also sell zippos at cheap price...and u can try to bargain ur price...sumtime its cheaper cuz its old stock cuz they need to clear it...so make sure u survey thoroughly....and btw....u could always view the zippo catalog so u can find the design tat u wants...and then u can go hunt for it...fake one?? i nvr encounter a fake zippo tat looks so real ...either its fake and have a very bad quality or its the real thing...u might wanna learn how to see the manufacturing date under the zippo so tat u can distinguish wether its a fake or not...

If not mistaken, the cheapest Zipppo lighter is at least RM50-60 ba... Last time I saw few Zippo lighters in Bangkok, but unfortunately, I didn't buy it, as my parents followed together, if I bought it, they sure ask this and that...

What's wrong with owning a lighter? I've got two Zippos. Feel as if they're a waste of money though, as I never keep them filled tongue.gif
