Anybody has some sample pictures using Tamron 18-200mm lens?
I'm planning on getting one. Will it cause much blur as it doesn't have Vibration Reduction?(TRAVELLING PURPOSE)
Is it ok just for auto mode?

Usually these kind of wide focal length lenses suffer from a lot of distortion right?
Not too sure, never used one before haha

Did some milky way shots last friday night when the night is clear, played around with some light trails and foreground element. Still too much light pollution nearby =.=''

I think this kind of shot is when a full frame sensor have a bit of its own advantage.

have to go places like sekinchan la, but the more people the merrier since those places are usually dark and somewhat dangerous (malaysia safest country ma )

Bro, download the app called Planets. Will be able to see exactly where the milky way is. Also can see when its rising up as well. Look for the part near Scorpio.

As for time, in Miri I prefer around 9.30-11. After that the Milky Way will be too high to include any foregrounds elements. Else the Mily Way will just be on the sky all night long.
