how possible it is for a DSLR to become mirrorless, the term DSLR itself stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex, which already means the camera will be having mirror to reflect light into focusing mechanism and viewfinder
there are many good cameras out there, not only 3 as you listed.
lol... Dslr soon will be mirrorless means in future, probably all manufacturer produce & move to mirrorless camera ler...
Yes I know, there are many good camera out there. That's why I using words "so far" & "worth for money". Means by considering money from my pocket ler... My word is "so far good camera in market", not "so far the only good camera in market"

about the video on switching brand - LOL on some points.
even more LOL to compare Sony A7S vs Nikon D4.
to me it's very simple - on lens image stabilization alone is enough a reason for me to stick to SLR and I don't like EVF.
Yep.. I guess he just jump to conclusion without specifically & entirely compare all the function in detail. Example...high ISO capability, but how about noise level, etc?
But the function available on A7 is so tempting...
about lens stabilization, did you mean mirrorless camera lens has no image stabilization?

Sony A7 series definitely has very good image quality, I wouldn't even doubt it one bit.
As for image stabilization - this part can go a bit lengthy. Sony's older line like Alpha SLT camera and NEX, and also mirrorless from other brands have sensor but they use stabilization on sensor so all lens used will be stabilized. Sony's A7 and newer NEX for example, does not have in-body stabilization but has OS on lens, which I think is better.
So which mirrorless? You have to check.
About his D4S vs A7S comparison - one has to consider, the A7S does not come with weather seal and would very likely to fail when conditions are harsh. D4S was build like a tank.
And he also mentioned that ALL Nikon camera using sony censor, is that true? I tot only D90 and a few model only.

Who can guide me on this.. This is my photo shoot with my D610. The problem is a difficulty to focus both of faces here.
When I chose AF-C Dynamic area 39 points or AF-S, it just focus on specific focus point only. (for example if focus point at centre) When I chose auto area focus, it will chose to focus on one of the faces only.
So how I gonna focus both of it? re-compose technique? but how?

not worth doing that bro. get a used one better. so when u sell, not so much pain in pocket. i lost 1k plus when sold d5100. and morover, d5300 is new, when u gonna sell it, maybe got d5400 ady, then ur d5300 price drop like bungee jump leh. d600 users oso feel the pain
yeap..unless you planning want to use it 3-4 years. Now nikon also like hp, to many new model coming out. Most of it just upgraded from previous model.

guys, take a look on this.. this was a photo shoot by me using my D610 (manual focus, 30/s, ISO 3200)
I chose this setting because it captured almost the same lighting & ambient from my actual/real eyes view. From this image, obviously we can see the contrast right?
The issue is...why my camera unable to auto focus it? They claim D610 have good contrast detection in low light. But it not happen here.

Contrast detection isn't invincible FYI, unless you're focusing on that black frame, those wall plasters and it's surrounding colors have very low contrast.
QUOTE(mingyuyu @ Dec 4 2014, 09:01 PM)
well in this setting I don't expect any camera to be able to focus.

Camera sensors are still no match for our eyes I suppose
really arr? so my expectation on D610 is to high I guess...hehe Just worried my camera got any auto focus problem actually..glad when heard it was normal.
