Yup, I am quite happy about my current job, since the money is not the first priority here, then freedom will be put in place (My own opinion). I got h*ll lot of freedom working in this company (Boss not around) and nice colleagues, flexible lunch hour and tea time.

Freedom and flexibility are some luxuries to be appreciated. But does your job provides you enough sense of accomplishment, gives you enough control over your task, and most importantly have a clear roadmap to career growth if you perform well?

For me, working here is not a quite HAPPY things to me coz there is nothing much communication here. Everyone here using msn as communication tools so there is nothing much talking environment here. Only the sound of keyboard typing.
u knowlar, me working as programmer is facing computer 9-6 whole day long except during lunchtime. hehe....

Tension -> easylar. Whenever have tension, play alot of sport activities like playing badminton, basketball and swimming. bruce.gif cheers.gif

I'm happy (great boss, great team) but frustrated, depressed, etc. No challenges.. the brain is not stimulated anymore and I'm still not promoted!!!! vmad.gif Most probably going to quit next month unsure.gif. Well human... never satisfied one. Anyway, 1 tip - find the job you love....

Any tips to boost excitement in your work, especially the one you're frustrated with?

haha my turn my turn.

i'm almost one mth into this MNC company. but nv felt such loads of freedom in doing my own stuff here. we gotta open all msgrs as it's the way of comm here in this IT helpdesk environment. no salary delay issue ( unlike my previous company), my trainers & TLs are all very supportive on wat i'm doing. feedback are always welcomed here. the big bosses even 'pao' my ciggi sometimes. tongue.gif the whole office area is quite open minded. the bosses and use the word 'fcuk' to their peers, & vice versa too!! ohmy.gif but stil no grudges after that. just the way of comm here.

overall, great place to work in. chances of getting promotion is very high here. rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

My company have a flexible working hours. Usually start work at 10 am or later. Sleep untill 8.30. haha..sometimes can even go back home after working half day. hehehe.

Too bad, what I want is career advancement and money. So all this is useless to me. Sad....

I'm pretty ok with the environment when there are things to do, co's the company allows me to get involved in projects and a chance to explore responsibilities not within job scope if I want (chance to learn things) .. experiences to gain etc.

just .. the pay is hopeless sweat.gif .. my peers are touching 3+ now with 1 year+ working experience and I'm not even halfway through there cry.gif
