not cooling defect, 1 of those vram chip unable to effort that speed or defect.. usually vram chip have body mark as part number.. u can check over the internet about the spec of the vram.. maybe different version..

no chance of rma right? alright thank you for your help. i think i stick with the mild +20% oc for now, hopefully it lasts like 4yrs+.....=)

but should i RMA because my vram cant be overclocked? since they void warranty if they found out i overclock my gpu though.

I don't think you can RMA just because you can't overclock to a specific speed.

ah well, then no choice la, im still happy with the performance i get out of a rm760 gpu though, a big upgrade from my old laptop, thanks guys for taking the time to reply to my questions, like really, a big thank you to everyone in this thread =)
