my phone is lumia 920 only, small battery.
so no point have to use cortana which require location to be turn on.

Noted in 8.1 internet explorer cannot play embedded youtube videos in lowyat forum. Fire browser my other favourite browser can play without any problems. Fire browser however still cannot attached photos in postings in this forum

after two days with 8.1 cortana works fine, and yes.. my battery drain faster..

but i just have a couple of question..

1) what the heck is wifi sense ?

2) can I turn of advertising ID.. ? what is this thing ?

I just never allow Cortan to run on background... So no problem as well.

Wifi sense helps u login available public wifi automatically. It also allows friends to share their wifi login credentials.

Advertising ID, I've disabled it.




Btw, anyone facing problem with whatsapp? Now my whatsapp images save location is called Others instead of Whatsapp...

Just an update. I've checked the file directory... All the images stored in Whatsapp folder... But the Photos app shows 2 different folder.... Whatsapp and Others....

yup.. it stored to OTHERS. hahaha

And you couldn't access this Others folder within whatsapp..

after I upgrade to 8.1, my Celcom network wont reach LTE.. in certain places where I can easily get my LTE connection.. but now its only H+. I dont know either its reach 1gb quota or what..

*Update for you guys, i have successfully roll back to 8.0. you must download Nokia Software Recovery Tool 1.1.3. Not nokia updater for retail.

The rom will consume 1.60GB, it takes 1hour to download

Guys, want to ask. Did anyone buy those "universal 3-in-1 clip-on fish-eye lens" or something? Cause I've used one of my friend's before, wanted to get one for this phone. But what they told me was the clip is too short to reach the lens.

(tl;dr) : The lens is too far down for clip to reach. Any recommendations for fisheye lens?

found flip casing kind of troublesome... previously using the Nokia original flip casing... but i broke it last weekend... but it protected my phone edge... a hard hit from waist height...

WP8.1 still not final version, kinda buggy for me. so i roll back to 8.0. at least i play games smoother (modern combat 4)
