Battery life is worser than 8.0
On idle standby with 3g on 24/7 drain is 2%/hour
Browsing on 3g , email download, tweeter, RSS newsfeed, facebook - horrifying consumption of 15-20% per hour vs most 10% previously

Found this app Quick Control Tap on it n you can now access easily vol controls, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3g, etc etc Best I like is just tap on the lock n I can shutdown display without need to press power button

Noted in 8.1 internet explorer cannot play embedded youtube videos in lowyat forum. Fire browser my other favourite browser can play without any problems. Fire browser however still cannot attached photos in postings in this forum

Nokia gift voucher you can only redeem one time only. The system will recognized your email account once you try to redeem it
Over time battery usage had improved with 8.1. Now on idle with email, n some feeds actively refresh it is now slightly under 1%/hour vs 3-4% previously

Upgraded to latest 8.1 n in past 2 days noted very noticeable battery improvements. Now with usage averaging 2-2.5%/hour vs 4-5% previously
Smoother n slicker UI - I don't seem to notice it
