it works like the normal remote desktop app on the desktop.

1. Make sure the PC you want to remote desktop to has remote desktop enabled. (How to enable remote desktop). Make sure you have username/password enabled for the user account you wish to login as.
2. Take note of the PC/desktop IP address (it has to be a public IP address)
3. DOwnload the remote desktop app from the WP store
4. Just add (the + button) the IP address of the desktop/PC in the PC name field.
5. Save
6. Click to connect. It will ask for a username and password.

I've unpinned the one drive, xbox games and Metro Tube tile. Let's see.

Hmmm. Is the PC you are connecting to have it's own public IPv4 address ? If you are behind a firewall/router then you need to do port forwarding.

How is your pc setup ? Your home pc ? Office pc ?
Home pc: Then you would be behind the modem/router so port forwarding needs to be done.

Office pc: Check with your network admin. And if such thing is allowed by your company.

same here, battery drain is significant compared to just DP 8.1.
On DP 8.1 GDR 1 with latest patch updated yesterday.

I've been using the Nilkin one for close to 2 months. So far so good. No peeling. Slight dust buildup around the edges (the entire film, not just the bottom curve). Can just use the fingers to clean, no cuts .

relax bro. Just telling my experience.
Agreed that since the 1520 has curved glass, a flat full length SP will be wasted at the corners. Perhaps for a v2, Nilkin can do one just a few mm before the curves. At least it can give a better impression of covering the whole unit.

Got bored (and tired of wating OTA update for DP 8.1 users), so used the Software Recovery tool to flash to Cyan. Gonna try the miracast next.

Anybody's battery life suffering after the latest DP update ? Mine is going down more than usual. Damn.

Found out the culprit was UC Browser beta. Somehow running in the background occupying 50% of battery time.
Uninstalled it and looks fine so far.
Funny this happened only after the latest DP patch.

Denim is not out yet. The latest is developer preview 8.10.14203.306

Yup that is the official Lumia Cyan release.
Denim is expected Q1 2015.
