Quality is WAY better under Denim with Lumia Camera. Even using just Lumia Classic Camera also the improvement is noticeable.

I think their update have issue, been trying to install their update since lunch time, keep error. Now they probably removed the app till they fixed the update.

Yes "Hey Cortana" is not as easy to use as "OK google" or "Hey Siri". Those 2 you can more easily call up, not having to worry bout how exactly you say it. On the other hand I do like that Cortana only responds to me hahaha. But if you have trouble with getting her to respond, I suggest retraining her. Speak loudly in the manner you would call her up in the most comfortable tone for you. I found that the tone is the most important thing, change it slightly & "Hey Cortana" won't work.

No, not different tones. It only works in 1 tone. Also make sure u train her in quiet environment else sure fail one

Because Microsoft used a function only available in Snapdragon 800 chipset. This allows "Hey Cortana" to work even if phone is locked, asleep & use almost no extra power doing so.

"OK Google" works well but unfortunately is a power hog. I switched back to normal launcher on my Nexus 7 2012.

"Hey Siri" needs your phone to be charging for it to work.

Yes, I think all Lumia 1520, 930, Icon users have this issue. I noticed this right after installing Denim. There's kind of a fix if you not willing to try phone full reset, which some ppl have said fixes the issue. I'm definitely not going to full reset my phone. With the latest update of Lumia Camera, I found that letting it stay in the task manager fixes the gyro issue. But this doesn't fix it 100% of the time or is it instant. I just leave it at the task manager, wait 10 mins then I find my gyro working pretty much like normal. If all fails, restart your phone.

Lumia camera will go background if u press the back button also. Just keep it there, don't go task manager close it on purpose.

Actually that is wrong, in Windows if you have a reboot loop, it usually mean your memory is failing. Same thing with phone, this seems to indicate hardware issue already.

My experience here in Kota Kinabalu is bring receipt & phone. Phone will definitely not come back looking pristine lah, maybe slight tool marks. Only issue is how long usually have to wait for them to fix the phone. This was my experience with my old Lumia 920

Ah ok, really have to factory reset the phone to fix it permanently. Great. Anyway since your phone just reset, insider pro won't be able to give correct battery life estimation. Usually this takes a week or 2 after u settle down with all the apps configured & background tasks running.

Depends on what your definition of 2D game is haha. Most are actually 3D but put in 2D overlay. In fact these so called 2D games heat up more than some good well optimised 3D games.

I won't say not fully optimize for Lumia, but not optimized for Windows Phone in general. Weirdly simple games like Candy Crush, Frozen Free fall heats up the phone quite badly.

Well they did give us Lumia Camera 5, so still have camera software R&D hehe. But Lumia 1520 is actually a unique phone which sadly didn't sell well.

Microsoft already confirmed a flagship is only coming AFTER Windows 10 ships, which is Summer 2015. So I'm guessing July to August timeframe only. Also I doubt they will bring back 1020 camera spec. The idea is excellent but unfortunately not what the mass market wants. As have been shown by all other phone makers, ppl wants to be able to take pictures fast, with almost no delay to next shot, variable frame rate videos, on the fly filters & panoramas. Microsoft needs to get those basics covered well before thinking of putting more unique features else ppl will always complain. Now I love lossless zoom & Lumia Camera 5 so don't get me wrong, just that till today our beloved 1520 still can't do stuff like variable frame rate videos or even take good panoramas!!!

Anyway, the next W10 Technical Preview is coming this Saturday 1am MY time so get ready if you wanna try it

Yap that sounds like battery issue liau, not calibration prob. No OS update can help. Good luck with getting battery changed by yourself. Scary to me haha

Oh ok. That's odd my 535 almost as sensitive as my 1520. Worse is the 535 have issue tracking 2 fingers or more accurately. I found that ever since I changed how I store my 1520 only on it's back, I've had very little phantom touch issue.

Yes it's alpha stage now which is why I will only test on 535 hehe. Office is removed, not can't launch hehe. Specifically it's some apps on SD card will fail to open after upgrade. It's random unfortunately.

Ah ok. Well this is OS preview, was never meant to fix those bugs. Also the touch bug is actually hardware issue, not something that can be fixed with software.
