i was thinking that too but based on my experienced with lumia 720.. i need to wait the updates(Lumia Black) available in Malaysia even i changed my region to US..

i just discover 1 more thing on IE11.. now support drop down menu by long press.. can check my cimb account now.. lol what a slowpoke ..

new 8.1 update have some bug...
like, date and time messed up each after every soft reset...
battey still not calibrate well enough

me also faced same prob with date and time.. but after i change my region and regional format.. then soft reset.. seems back to normal..

Phone updates are tied to your phone product code, not region settings in your phone. So yes, changing region does nothing to help.

Soft reset? U mean u hold Volume Down + Power for 8 secs? That always mess up date & time, ever since WP8.0. Nothing new ah.

Latest update seems to have solved all my battery issues. Phone back to normal like WP8.0 power drain.

before the latest update, mine always be the same time and date.. but not this time...
my battery life hasn't turned normal yet

Only happen on WP8 and believe that's the software completion Date & Time before M$ roll out offical update, meaning every time you soft reset hold Vol + Power your date & time will revert back to it originate date of completion of firmware. am i right?

Windows Phone 7 doesn't have this time error after soft reset

Got few questions thought
-the twitter apps is not funtioning properly..i don't get any notifications from the apps..
-how to activate cortana?already set the language,speech and region to United States but still Cortana wont show up
-why the camera is so..ermm..how should i say it..not exceeding my expectations..i mean even my HTC titan camera is better..i dunno..maybe its me..maybe its the phone

Other than that..this phone is perfect

maybe poor driver.. need to wait CYAN firmware.

Are you on wp8.1 developer preview ? Cortana only works on 8.1
Camera - I am happy with it. You can try using Nokia Camera beta instead

Im on 8.1 dev preview..still..no cortana..dunno wat todo..twitter apps still not giving notifications..maybe i'll try reinstall it back

anyboy use wireless charger on this phone??
seems like most of the cables i have fails on my phone

i am using wireless charger..i like it so much coz its so convenient and it auto shut the the charger when ur phone reach 100%

btw if u wanna get it i bought this type its far more cheaper than nokia wireless charger and output is far higher then nokia's NIKILIN WIRELESS CHARGER

Finally..the Cortana is working...yeay!! not sure what to ask her cos there are many things that o would like to ask lol..the twitter apps are also giving proper notifications...i'm lovin it!
