Hi all crusader sifus,

Just want to share my crusader with you all and hopefully can get some advice. I am particularly interested to know about skill builds.

I just got the BoP and it rolled decently. Lucky enough to get my second Akkhan's piece few days back. What can I do to improve my crus?

It is now sitting a 1.2mil dps and 12mil toughness. No other buffs except from from the law.

Also, what should I gamble from Kadala? I am thinking of Andariel's Visage and maybe try to get it to roll holy dmg if that is possible. Currently I am just dumping all the shards towards Witching hour for my DH which I don't enjoy as much as a crusader.

Your skill build is out of tune with your gears. Since you already have the Piro Marella, why not build around that? For weapon, it is a general consensus that emerald is indispensible just for the crit damage. Not to mention you need a better weapon.

Your glove is a magefist which is a fixed fire dmg, if I were you I'd try to reroll your bracer into fire damage. As for the other parts, if that fire build seems to work, you might want to gamble for a cindercoat.

Anyways, I'd gamble kadala for a new shoulder and try to get the 3rd akkhan piece which will unlock 4 set bonus.

As for the blessed shield skill, it might seem easy to use and you feel that the damage is good. But for me, unless you have a Jekangboard, it is not that good.

So yeah, a lot of space for improvements.


Nice since you got the gryfalcon. But the utmost priority is to get a jekangboard which will make that blessed shield a lot more powerful.

I'd recommend you gamble for a Jekangboard and then an Akkhan shoes. One last thing, I personally won't use falling sword since you are now essentially a ranged crus with that gryfalcon. Might as well change it to another skill and take advantage of the cooldown reduction from 1h weapon. Try condemn/bombardment. Phalanx is a solid choice in my opinion.

Just my 2 cents and I am not a seasoned crusader afterall.

Hahaha...I checked the battle.net profile page and compared to the ingame tooltip. I think the one in the website is an obselete version.

I am running a holy sader. All my skills are holy based. Even FoTH and bombardment. Though I am thinking of replacing bombardment with phalanx.

The profile page doesn't display all the stats properly though. So don't get confused.

Just got my 5th Akkhan the other day. Would love to hear any comment regarding my build. I am new to fire.

I really have no idea what shield to use. And maybe the next blood shards will be spent on blood shards.

I am starting to believe about the theory that certain character has higher chance of getting a specific item.

I have no luck with gyrfalcon. I've found almost all 1H flail except for falcon. But I have like 3 darklights.

And also yesterday, TF dropped 2 times for me within one hour. But not from the same game. The first one was a private game, and i went on joining a public game right after that where the second TF dropped.
