I cant run my CXMS2 6400C5 RAM at 800Mhz on Asus P5LD2-SE eventhough the bios give option to run at 800MHz. Cant boot up. I know the i945P only support up to 667Mhz. Is there anyone knows the trick?
DDR800 on 945P M/B?

ur mobo only support 400/553/667mhz .. so even u have 800mhz ram it only run at 667mhz .. ( correct me if im wrong )

yup.. the mobo will only use the highest setting it can support if a higher value of ram is inserted..

u need to reset cmos when put new ddr2 stick.it will revert all setting to default. |
