i see.. the icon still not yet blink but i'm worried ady since at highway and below red mark..

hmm.gif after blinking still can go for how many km?

when i pump until rm77+ like that, the pumper keep on tak tak tak pause halfway dy.. so dun feel like going beyond rm80, afraid petrol will flow out.. haha
*
hmm.gif Lets say that your fuel meter is at "E", no blinking. Going with a fuel consumption of 10L/100KM which equals to 10KM/L, and assuming that at the E mark, you still have about 10L of fuel in the tank, in theory you should be able to go for another 100KM actually hmm.gif.

Don't think so. There should be only one tank in the car, just that the car is calibrated to alert once the float height / level is below a specified height. (it's on a stick with a rectangular tube like thing at the end on the fuel pump).

Hi sifu, I'm a persona user for almost a year now and I think is time to change my tire. I'm looking for quiet and comfy tire, changing the rim is an option for me too. Budget wise just make sure I dont have to trade an arm or leg for it. And finally any tip or suggestion to make the ride more comfy????

hmm.gif. For 195/55R15 I believe it's about RM300 per piece. Not sure about 195/60R15 but I'd expect to be over RM300 per piece, but that's my assumption and it may actually be cheaper. Why don't you ask one of the popular tyre shops owner here, aka nestum?

Thanks nickuzo nikkcuso something, I went to check the brake lights today and it really seems to be the cause of the rrrrr sound when the weather is cold and the car goes over bumps. I put some insulation around areas where it can fit and be compressed, but haven't tested it yet. Hopefully it'll be gone forever.

hmm..so far so good..not expecting it become like those conti..haha
so what is the outcome?
i din open but i saw a big gap between the light and windscreen..
somehow its not the gap create sound, more like inside of it
*
I further improved it today by removing it and adding more insulation and bitumen strips to the rubber strip of the brake light cover since it didn't solve the problem completely. Now after banging around everywhere it seems that it can no longer vibrate, but we'll know once I start driving. laugh.gif

hard to be like conti lah. unless you are driving the suprima or preve i think their car will have conti feel if do good soundproof.
but still, I think it works wonder in your car.
*
hmm.gif Biggest problem in soundproofing I think would be the wind noise. Don't think there's much we can do if there's a design flaw for the windows or a bad design that causes quite a bit of wind noise. During my trip to Ipoh my passenger complained about some noise coming from the rear right window that sounds like a window not shut completely. I googled about this and I don't think it's a common problem for Personas. Maybe my window seals are old.

normally it only happen during cold day...haha..maybe when hot time, the screw mengembang..haha
indeed..and the chassis rigidness oso play the part lo..
*
I believe it may be due to the slight gap between the brake light cover and the rear screen. If the car is a few years old it may also be due to the rubber strip of the cover which may have hardened. The plastic itself is also pretty damn thin.

QUOTE(jasonloh7906 @ May 6 2014, 02:31 PM)
true also. if the rubber seal can't match the soundproof then that area will be making noise of course. some ppl have done good soundproofing and even rubber sealing but the fact that the soundproofing is good make him hate the car window. Maybe is around time to change the rubber seal edi.
true. that is why there are feedback on the chassis foaming of reducing road noise I think.
*

shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif I'd push to have that car declared total lost. I wouldn't want it back even if someone manages or insists on repairing it sweat.gif.

QUOTE(Cavino @ May 7 2014, 01:13 PM)
The airbag does not deploy cause the sensor for deploying the airbag is in front (don't know where for PE). During massive frontal collision, the front usually compressed all the way, crashing the engine and and the key structure of the car in front. For City it is located in the skeleton structure (very hard) where upon the collision hit that spot (in the midst of the engine, where it means the collision is very hard), it will deploy.

The front of your cour looks intact, no teruk frontal collision there thus no deployment. If got side bag, sensor it at side lor, sure deploy.
*
I think he said he didn't wear his seatbelt hmm.gif, unless the airbags work even without having the seat belt on.
