just an example of careless person towards their persona la..
i think engine will still go if no gear oil change, coolant change, timing belt 100k can still go(my car)

iridium plugz ka ?
my iridium more than 100k km / 3+ yrs
*
Most long life plugs although certified 100K mileage, the 100K are actually pushing at their boundary. I usually change at 80K instead to maintain optimum performance. Once hitting closer to limit, performance will decrease more drastically, the performance, engine, fuel efficiency decrement does not add up to the minimal cost of plugs dragging 20K more.

U can try guna PE stock spark plug for 90k, see car can still run or not....

Only long life iridium/platinum plugs can use that long but I don't think PE owner willing to spend abt RM300-400 for that. They either use the cheapest they can find or installed performance iridium plugs instead. I changed mine at 40K, going to change again at 70k (30k mileage on limit boundary).

Anyone know where to get "original" denso iridium power plugs or not.

of course stock cannot last tht long.
changed mine at 20k then bought denso iridium from zeng or xandras bulk purchase. by the time this thread was still fresh. sweat.gif
original means RM150 cost right ?

Bulk. Bulk.
Mine still using with 50K mileage already.

Itu your current mileage ke or plugs used 50K liao.

Xan pernah destroy one of the plugs when hitting using near 50K, remember? Zen mentioned his plugs gap already worn quite big by 30K mileage thus he re-gap them. Efficient already decrease drastically after 30K mileage, so I guess, it better to use stock plugs and change every 20K to maintain optimum efficient over 50K mileage (better than using power iridium at 1 go for 50K mileage).

Same philosophy with engine oil mineral/semi vs fs.

Flew 180km/h last Saturday.

Stable as mountain, but again, minor issues like sounds everywhere when you reach certain speed.

Touching 4.5k then 5k service liao.

Bila TT?

I still looking for "original" power iridium coz somehow I can feel there is a difference in startup, acceleration performance, etc vs stock plugs. A bit hard to downgrade after that. Now I'm ok with PE performance, down want to downgrade its performance further.

Too many fake plugs outside. Anyone got source or not....maybe Kenny can get original, can bulk.

Not sure if coolant effectiveness is judge by discoloration only (contamination). As we add more water overtime, won't the coolant dilute and provide less cooling thingy?

im not sure .. i no theres more than just color to judge its lifespan but when i search around, they say if u Extremely drive in an extreme hot weather often, u Must consider changing coolant fluid yearly.

Our weather is usually class as severe in all car manufacturers tho. So lifespan vs the limit is usually shorten by 20-50%. Thus for longer life item, I usually change earlier. (My city coolant life span 200K....I change at 100K, plugs 100K...I change at 80K)

Power iridium cost abt RM160-RM200 depending on who sell. Same price between original and fake coz all passed fake as original...that's the problem.
