Proton got the worst warranty among most established car manufacturer. It looks normal like 2 years or so but unlike others when there is defect such as coolant leaking due to rubber ring spoiled, etc, we still have to pay for the parts coz its under wear and tear. For other makes' warranty, any engine parts, rubber etc, spoiled during the warranty period, FOC, as long as its part of the engine. So the warranty comes with lots of limitation even on the engine unlike others.

I have not pay a single cents on any engine repair and parts during my 3 years warranty period of my City. Even those cables, rubbers holding, clips, all replace FOC.
