How about a beginner for hardcore char?.. nvr touch D3 for about a year and just got my ROS.. feel bored with the normal mode and wish to have some excitement by playing hardcore...

I wonder.. how long to take to your level (including your paragon level)..

Paragon system was introduced in patch 1.0.4 (back in Aug 2012) and this new paragon account wide system was introduced in patch 2.0.1 (namely Loot 2.0) since early march 2014...

Before Patch 2.0.1
Aug 2012 - mar 2014, my paragon levels for all chars were:
DH - PL85 & PL6
Barb - PL50 & PL10
WD - PL30
Wiz - PL20
Monk - PL13

All that took me 19months (including the 3 months break) I played casually ... Like 2-3 hours/day on weekdays and prolly 5-6 hours/day on weekends

When Patch 2.0.1 was released... My new paragon account wide was PL106 and now I'm PL155. With this new system, getting paragon level is much faster now..

That being said... I'm already at pl174 ... Just 4 days from this post... This just shows how easy it is to get paragon level...but I do play a lot of Torment 1 rifts

Yeah, I quit the LYN clan (Sorry x-119Tx!!) to search for the clan but HCViP didn't yield any results. What region am I supposed to search in? English/English UK/English Sea?

Well.... thats why i have lost 4 monks and 3 barbs. Highest about 50-something. The rest all 36-46. But since I can see the arcane turret, my deaths currently 0!

Gawd dammit.... Got a legendary shoulder last night. Turned out to be Int, Vit shoulder! FFFFFUUUUUUUU!!!!! So RAGE!

On a different note, if anybody sees me online and doing adventure mode, you are more than welcome to join me. If you wanna do rifts, I'm more than alright with it too. I don't mind using the keys because I am not online alot. So might as well use them. So don't shy shy!

I call him LemonT because he is lemont on my friends list. I don't really know what his LYF id is. As for farming, I can handle up to Hard. I not sure if I dare go higher right now. Only P13 now.

Don't worry about difficulty as I plan to farm that ring on normal mode... Need speed farming (split bounties) and get as much act1 horadric caches as possible... The ring only drops from Act1 horadric caches... We could also add in a rift or 2 for blood shard but gotta do it at least on master difficulty for that double blood shard drop..

Just try to get as much AR and Vitality as you can and you are good to go... Don't worry too much about DPS... We have others for that... As long as you have skills that can support / buff the team ...

I feel a bit keras so I don't think survivability is problem. In fact maybe I should drop defensive stats a little and take a little more offensive.

Your survivability looks tip top... Maybe for torment runs... (Torment only) You could change 1 of your active skills for warcry and 1 of your passive to Inspiring presence which would bring a lot of + to the party members... Not trying to change the way u play but it would be a great benefit to all until your dps hits a point where u can do 1mil - 5mil crits to actually contribute to killing speed ...

Oh it finally happened, I've lost my 70 barb. It was a good death.

I was trying to save my friend by grabbing all mobs' aggro. I guess those frost explosions do waaaay more damage in T1. Oh well, this is why I have a backup. RIP LastChance.

Yes... Each player solos 1 bounty to speed the cache farming process ... So if there's 4 players, 4 bounties would be running at the same time ... And we would normally do it in normal difficulty ....

Hey all the hardcore players, i had stopped play HC before RoS and i am still in lvl 60 and paragon 6 or 7 i think.. feels like playing back HC as the normal one so boring already after train to 200 paragon but just want to ask which char better to play with? i have WD and DH lol.. any suggestions guys?

I think DH is probably the hardest class to play in HC. SC DH is probably one of the easier classes because dying has no penalty and dying as a DH is probably part of the playstyle. Obviously in HC this playstyle doesn't work. But if you are good enough, DH should be fine.

WD on the other hand is reputedly (I've actually seen statistical data to back this claim) the most survivable class. But I've always felt their dps was lacking.

Which one to play? Dunno man, which you feel like playing? The easy to die but high dps or the tougher but no so much dps class.

Which do you prefer? Which char do you fully understand the ins and outs? The pros and cons? Every character is viable and it all depends on the player... I personally main a DH and to me ... It is by far the most challenging class ... Need alot of attention and repositioning... I'm currently in love with crusader class tho...
