Yes bro, J4 Eco made in Thailand..new ckd ASX also state need to use J4 at the dipstick..(same cvt as lala i guess)

But if u search in ebay or amazon, their J4 packaging is different & measured in quart..

So i guess, J4 supersede J1..plus point is, J4 available in 1L bottle & 4L bottle..

erm ...
i ask u to define AVERAGE FC ..

as of to me .. Average FC and inaccurate is totally different thing ..

inaccurate is SALAH .. WRONG ..

Average FC is Average FC ..

you drive total 1 hour @ 60 min ..
first 55 min .. u drive very gentle .. 15km/L
final 5 min .. u sprint like no tomorrow .. u do 5km/L

so 55/60 x 15km/L + 5/60 x 5km/L

13.75 + 0.42 = 14.16 km /L

so you define it as inaccurate eventhough it is stated AVERAGE fc la ?

from dictionary:
QUOTE
a number expressing the central or typical value in a set of data, in particular the mode, median, or (most commonly) the mean, which is calculated by dividing the sum of the values in the set by their number.

which is why imho it is an inaccurate method to measure your fuel consumption, wrong ke? sad.gif
but yea your calculation is spot on though thumbup.gif

another factor i am unsure about which currently i am under assumption is that the meter actually directly calculates the amount fuel being pumped. i came to that assumption since leaving the car idle for few minutes you can see the km/L drop like rocks.
would you happen to know on that?

i suppose, instead of inaccurate, i should further stress that it is an avg figure, and it is impractical.

Thats what i have been farkig correxting u all.
The manufacturer stated clearly it is average fc!
Average is average la.. What to do with acurate?

Harlo.. U juz slap urself again..
The meter is Average fc as always.. U idle there the car totally not moving but u r burning fuel.. So in terms of calculation how to work out?
10 min drive 10km/L
50 min idle 0km/L

Total 60 min.. U do ur own calculation..

if you seriously want to maintain that driving, theoretically you can go 1062km using 18km/l * 59 liters. ok fine, going all the way will risk fuel pump dmg. so let's use 50 liters... 900km.
for the sake of simple math and using rounded figures, if you take an hour to drive 100km with 100kph, you will need at least 9 hours for 100kph to drive 900km. do the math for avg 75kph.
rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

anyways from melaka to kl... it only took like... 10-20% of my fuel? hard to gauge the digital meter's bar anyways, but it basically took very little fuel, which the 18km/l reflected lol

if you take the second picture of my post, it has maybe 60-65% left?

i basically pumped saturday midnight after godzilla movie, go home, saturday morning avg speed 120-150kph to melaka at avg 12-13km/L
then some melaka town driving

and only return trip i decided to test my FC.

the bulk of the 35-40% fuel used (based from the meter shown on 2nd pic) is definitely prior to the return trip from melaka to KL.

on a complete average, i don't get that much as my fuelly proves it laugh.gif

as per screen shotted, proton is quoting 15.8km/l @90kph speeds for the 1.8MT

so the figures i am getting is quite realistic considering the rather extreme measures taken, and much slower cruising speed.
