erm ...
i ask u to define AVERAGE FC ..
as of to me .. Average FC and inaccurate is totally different thing ..
inaccurate is SALAH .. WRONG ..
Average FC is Average FC ..
you drive total 1 hour @ 60 min ..
first 55 min .. u drive very gentle .. 15km/L
final 5 min .. u sprint like no tomorrow .. u do 5km/L
so 55/60 x 15km/L + 5/60 x 5km/L
13.75 + 0.42 = 14.16 km /L
so you define it as inaccurate eventhough it is stated AVERAGE fc la ?
from dictionary:
QUOTE
a number expressing the central or typical value in a set of data, in particular the mode, median, or (most commonly) the mean, which is calculated by dividing the sum of the values in the set by their number.
which is why imho it is an inaccurate method to measure your fuel consumption, wrong ke?

but yea your calculation is spot on though

another factor i am unsure about which currently i am under assumption is that the meter actually directly calculates the amount fuel being pumped. i came to that assumption since leaving the car idle for few minutes you can see the km/L drop like rocks.
would you happen to know on that?
i suppose, instead of inaccurate, i should further stress that it is an avg figure, and it is impractical.
