Mine late 2013 unit (bought in December) has turbo emblem. Can say it's "first batch turbo emblem" units 
The engine braking feature is kind of annoying to me sometimes

I don't know about the vacuum pump (i dunno what it is ), but my EB does not have hill stop assist

true2..i think suprima the only model have hill stop assist

Mine doesn't have the vacuum pump either. You friend's EB is from which batch?
And what does the vacuum pump do?

hi, mine is turbo emblem but its 2014 april car...mine comes with the vacuum silver colour thing...according to SA it is a hill assist...

Can see the below is the engine bay for suprima S...it looked exactly the same..

Proton decided to throw in the vacuum pump for hill hold assist right after I got my unit of EB.. Why Proton why??!!?     

The vacuum pump is for brake booster, and CVT3+ has hill hold assist.
The new batch only has it, as I oredi mention after my first visit to service center, a white uniform guy told me.

If you get 2014 car without these thing, then is old batch, whether Turbo emblem or CFE.

Would like to know the wiring of vacuum pump, anyone care to have a look?
From what I've studied, it requires an external pressure sensor, and some connection to the ECU. It will only activate when necessary.

Just view from EOCM fb page, the front windscreen crack within 1 years. Many EB owner facing this problem too. Any LYN member having this problem too?

Just sharing my findings. I think my EB consume fuel at a very tolerable rate. Pump in RM 100 or equivalent to approx 47.62 L i able to get about 450KM of total distance. And put in mind that the driving style is not considering any fuel saving. And its 50% town 50% hiway.

No modification done except installation of genuine Pivot Mega Raizin kedai potong voltage stabiliser. And ECU firmware haven't been updated since January 2013. So its an old version firmware.

seriously guys.. its a rebranding exercise by proton... CFE rebranded to Turbo.. its just an emblem Change..
the vacumm pump, probably u got the car that was made right before the vacumm pump thingy got incorporated in to the design...

So that people know 'eh?! WTF, proton also got Turbo, some more on MPV?! I better check it out.'

I know new model of EB CFE has 2 extra things, the brake booster and CVT3+.
The gearbox is out of question, since the wire harness is different. At least, brake booster can hope. Anyone?

And cfe=charged fuel efficiency? Not so fuel efficient issit.. if higher compression is possible, fuel economy will drop to below 10l/100km for you exora guys and around 6l/100km for us, sedan/hatch guys..

My 2014 Turbo EB , FC was crazy at 19.2L/100km , so after 1000km service , went down to 14.6L/100k , i was so happy !

You guys posting 10.58L/100km and got some even l8.8L/100km  ?!?  WTF !!
I wanna tear off the Turbo emblem and stick the CFE  on it

lol 8.8l/100 km maybe possible if mostly highway usage.
City usage is impossibruuuuuuuuuu
