Yes even with the oil catch tank there's still oil sludge. From my understanding it can reduce them to the turbo component.

Hi,
I'm quite confused now...some people recommend to use fully synthetic oil..some said semi-syn is good for our Exora Bold CFE (turbo engine)...any confirmation from expert?

Guys,
Checking with EB CFE owner which already passed 60K mileage service. Would like to check, how much you guys have spent to replace the spark plugs?

Then you don't need to do the 5000Km service,my dad did the first service 1000km then straight 10000KM service.never do the 5000km.

personally, i think at the end...it's all depend on your budget to maintain the car...if you've big budget, then no harm going for every 5K service...i think would be good in long run...but for me...i'm going every 10K even everyday journey takes about 80km due to strict budget i have...huhu the SC also every time i service will asked why don't come at 5K? ;p

its indeed a very good feedback on the updates on ECU..will the tuner be doing for others as well? and roughly how much is the cost to do it?

I've felt that my car turbo starts to spool around 1.8k rpm =.= which is thats why how light i step also fc abit high...
*
bro, when u mentioned u've updated the ECU an TCU, you did it at authorized proton SC or you did it at workshop/tuner? If not mistaken previously there's someone in this forum stated that when he updated the ECU at the proton SC, the response is not so good plus there's a speed limiter can only go up to 190km/h only.

Anyone can confirm on this as my last service the SC recommend to update the ECU (takes ~2hours) as he feels my car jerking a bit when to start move...

What does it do actually?

hmm...u mean there's a personal tuner that will bring the gadget to reprogrammed the ECU/TCU setting?
From other comments seems like there's not worth upgrade the ECU/TCU at the SC as it may turn your car to lower performance compared to previous? (i'm not really like it to be limited up to only 190km/h ;p...what's the turbo for if not for acceleration and fast pick up ;p)
