My EB July 12 cfe is abt 20k km and the rear brake squeal n air con belt noise started abt 6 mths from new. brake noise somehow reduced but belt - sprayed wd 40 onto a/c compressor pulley and applied candle (wax) by rubbing onto moving belt - solve a/c belt squeaking noise during cold start - DIY .

The 'grrr' noise after going over sharp bumps could not solve even after changing the abs pump and module - wonder new batches still hv this issue? just last week replaced rear camera and now the image on mirror is like HD. Interior petrol smell solve as per posted here, plug up the petrol filler area with some glue . All the above done at COE - without much hassle, but you must have the time.

My opinion abt racechip etc, risky. You may get improved power/fuel efficiency by re-mapping but the engine is made up of so many other parts which are in essence are metal, rubber (seals) and plastic which will all be stressed and thus breaks which is why this engine turbo boost is set at such low boost. The engine is as powerful or as good as only its weakest link. LIke Pirelli tag line says Power is nothing without control - in this case Power is nothing if the engine blows up.

Avi files will sure work - rmvb ,mp4 or other hd files like mkv will not work. No need burn cd- just use thumbdrive.

Was at the proton karnival yesterday, the new exora bold and inspira radiator tip in question have been revised to metal. This will solve the issue of the tip breaking off but metal being highly heat conductive , will it not melt away the plastic housing?

I was at COSE last month for service and did complain abt slight drop in coolant level (hoping for radiator replacement). Instead they replaced the radiator cap rm 20+ or so, which I already did by myself for RM 15. So hopefully can last until next servie for the metal nipple replacement. Do they remove the top radiator cover for the job or just file down the current plastic tip and 'bolt on' the new nipple? looks like they replaced the hose too.
