I only face this problem when both my front and rear air cond blowers are at full blast. Then I repeatedly press on the brakes (lets say, coming out of a parking lot). The brakes might harden up. Maybe not enough power to regenerate the brake pump. Which has happened I think once or twice.

The newer models with the electric vacuum pump is said to have solved this problem though.

I bought a flip key for EB online. Just need to go duplicate your key teeth at a keysmith, then transfer over all the components of the remote (board, battery, immobiliser chip) into the designated slots in the flip key

I think the flip key feels significantly more solid in the hand than the original EB key. The flip key has quite an amount of heft compared to the hollow plasticky feel of the original key.

Plus can show off the flip key mechanism to friends just because it looks fancy
