QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Apr 27 2014, 03:15 PM) I think it's the 1.6L Turbocharged engine that lacks sufficient horsepower for pickup of speed above the 100km/h region (compared to say a 2.4L Estima engine) Most cars (apart from high end/performance cars) can't do 100-150km/h that fast anyway. So I suppose for an MPV, the EB's performance is considered decent already For a BUDGET MPV, certainly very decent. Just asking opinions, I plan to replace the front seats to stop that annoying "freeplay" sounds and also because my dad complains the seat isn't comfortable for him, compared to his car. Was thinking of recaro sr-11. Is that a good fit for exora, and anyone tried long drives in seats like that?

QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ May 2 2014, 06:00 PM) Your EB really unlucky... hopefully it gets resolved once and for all I certainly hope so, coz its impossible for me to drive long distance with a fragile instrument frequently with an aircon that takes holidays on whim...if this continues I will sell my exora, huge regret but what to do...it just isn't working...

My identity's been exposed, oh no. I'm back in KL and am going to do my last performance on this tour here. In Publika on May 24. If any of you guys interested, do come la, would like to meet you exora-sifus. Happy me, my exora is back from the workshops, they said they changed an electrical board and many wires. Aircon is working again....for now, hope it works forever! and if it has to go kong again please don't do it when I'm on the way to Penang/Singapore in the 35C Malaysian sun and have my precious harp behind me. QUOTE(fireballs @ May 9 2014, 10:00 AM) i suppose you will need to change the absorber to a softer one? musical instruments get damaged by vibration too. i put a soft mattress underneath the harp, and the harp itself is wrapped up in a very good and strong transport cover anyway so it's fine.

Haha. My aircon didn't even last a week. It's not working again. A pox on Proton and their QC and fabulous mechanics. Just called and they said they want my car for the whole of next week to try fix it again.
Guess no choice just have to scrap my dear car.
