got it from proton website
free service CONSIST of engine oil/oil filter and labour cost

izzit true?

looks like a "catch" there..you need to clarify with them better....the listed thing is for normal service and no major service package? e.g gear oil, cvt oil, plugs etc.

cause others i think they don't list out...just put free parts and service for 3 years

Hi everybody.

I am new to this thread. I hope my question will be posted correctly.

I have a new EB which is due for the 1st 1000km service.
Overall, not much to complain about; BUT I think the fuel consumption is way too high!

I have monitored twice. I put in 30L of fuel - but I can ONLY Get about 220 - 230km. That work out to about 13.0 to 13.5 L / 100km (city driving); whereas Proton Brochure says 8.3L/100km.

Even my old ALTIS which has done 350000km can get 11L/100km city driving; and 8.5L/100km (highway driving).

Assuming my driving style has not changed, and tyre pressure are all normal - what could be the reason for the high consumption?
Fuel leak at engine?
Poor combustion?
Fuel vaporise and leak out from the tank cover?
Turbo not engagaed when town driving?

Appreciate any explanation/advise.

turbo vs non turbo (performance)
mpv vs sedan (weight & size)

the fc for eb i think its about par with a D segment car...
