QUOTE(Xirality @ Jun 16 2014, 01:36 PM) Why would someone want 11 when there's 11S. Offer much more function like off screen gesture and I assume the camera interface different too right? Lock screen also custom. some ppl like to be first in to try sth...what i understand... 11 = nightly. 11s = stable version + more. |

I find their latest post about reasons not to buy from scalpers as real BS. the guy posted it seems to be new to the OnePlus team too.
point #1 about warranty... like some of what others have said, no different than biting AP. must be prepared for worst case if buy China unit. else, if wait for official unit, might be 6 months down the road. #2. based in what we know, it's no issue for Malaysia. point #3. every time we flash, we face this risk. even official firmware is not spared. recall some Samsung update had this before... #4 & #5 situation is created by OnePlus. they supplied more to China and very few to international. if they wanna meet China demands, then go xiaomi way and launch international when you can. if you can buy and use the phone, we dun even need customer service. and what kind of service are we expecting? special forum privilege? if my phone needs fixing, I just send it back la.I dun need anything else. QUOTE(Xirality @ Jun 17 2014, 11:39 PM) most likely to scalpers. dun think there are that many genuine OnePlus fans from China.asked a few friends from China a few months back about OnePlus... they said never heard and even warned me to be careful. said they'd rather stick to the "better" and popular China phone - xiaomi. so not surprised if those units sold in China gets resold. I find OnePlus seems to be mocking and making fun of their international market. seems like they dun really care and regard it as second or even third class. |

QUOTE(morenyet1986 @ Jun 24 2014, 02:31 AM) so which one is better? chinese version or international version? what are the pros and cons between the two version? hardware wise, no difference. it's all in the software. chinese version comes with Color OS and international version comes with CM11. wait... there's a slight physical difference... international version... back cover got CYANOGENMOD written at the back. |
