Free. I normally adjust the tint when i'm taking indoor pictures.
If I don't adjust, it's always gonna be a bit yellowish in auto mode.

Outdoor though, I don't think I need to adjust anything.

Yeah it's normal. My 920 used to have this symptom.
Suddenly turns off and you cannot switch it on if you don't soft reset the phone.
Normal to be panicked

For me yes on the 920.. It has happened quite a few times mate.
But as for my 1020. It has only happened once. I think the reason why it happened is simple.
WP totally crashed out and died for a moment.

Like the previous poster said, might get your phone bricked. So maybe try to avoid it for now until there is a hotfix.

Yup Cyan update is live for 1020. I just YOLO yesterday and update was smooth for me.

There seems to be another update for Developers Preview on Cyan.

Never encountered such issues yet.

Mine is 4.4.0.2 too. Unless can one to one exchange then ok.
Knowing Nokia they will only repair I think.

What do you do everyday with your phone?
Checking casually and replying messages and browsing a bit does not really drain the battery that much
Thing which you really need to always be aware of is the heat around the camera area.
When it is super hot or at least hot, you know you have to stop using your phone for a while.
When it's hot it drains a lot of your battery, but when it's not, it does not really drain that fast.

Also check for apps that might be old and outdated. This old apps causes a lot of battery drainage..
Especially the ones which is from WP 7.. I remember my old 920 used to have random reboots and even battery drainage, but problem solved when you remove all this apps. Just make sure to just remove the old WP7 apps and only run notifications/background apps and stuff which is only important. Don't keep those unnecessary apps.

Also other seasons for battery drainage is that you on your data connection every time without turning it off. Unless you live in an area with LTE connection everywhere, I suggest not to turn data on all the time. When there is an area without LTE connection, 3G connection drains a lot of battery. Having LTE connection all day though makes me on my data all the time. Always come back home with 20% battery remaining. Unless you really want to have all those notifications and data all the time but only have 3g connection, it is recommend to always bring a power bank

I hope there will be a new flagship and a worthy successor for the 1020..
If there isn't any, i'll be sure to keep this phone just to take some pictures during trips and stuff.
With the new Windows 10 announced and stuff, pretty sure it might happen soon.

For now i'm just hoping at least most of the new features coming on W10, will be on my 1020..

Same problem with mine. After update check the version and still Cyan. 2 days now and i'm still checking for updates lol

Oh yeah.. I forgot to turn that off and now i'm downloading denim.
I was thinking of doing that 2 days ago.. Guess I forgot

Everything is pretty smooth.
I notice that the performance in terms of speed is definitely better than Cyan.
Really smooth, buttery smooth

The only thing I feel is the phone being a bit faster on Denim.
Other functions not noticible maybe because I was on developers previews.

Let me know what you think after having Denim for a while. Would love to know what others think.

It's taking forever for Microsoft to release a new Nokia flagship..
I guess they want to make everything right and Windows 10 ready.

The longer the wait, the better for me, because I have no plan to upgrade yet.
