1. I actually didn't really care about this event just to buy real anime products/goods. Isn't the event supposedly be an open event for free circles (doujinka, etc) out there and not just the acg goods?

You misunderstood my first point.
By acg goods I mean those figurines, nendoroids, plushies, posters, which I don't really care. Of course I do care about the things I like. I purchase original goods for the past years (no, not the effing bootlegs). I got my manga and LN from Kino and I got my cd/dvds through tsuuhan.

Besides Bushiroad, I have never encountered any real anime or manga company/house such as Aniplex, Animate, Shueisha, Kodansha, Dengeki, etc.
And if you are talking about Animangaki and CF... ugh... those are even worst. Most local circles there macam syok sendiri.

Just like what "bai1101" said, that song is nice, blah blah blah, ohh that is the singer that sang the songs in macross frontier. And they may not be hardcore fans but if u let them do come across  and let them know the fact that she is may n or let them know there is an ost selling and some affordable may buy the ost or recognize her the next time...

Hi, I think your mindset is a little bit narrowing just to AFA here... i am not talking about just concert of AFA. I am referring more to daily occurrences. As i said, u can enlighten those NON hardcore people more information about them and also encourage them to buy original product. And some may buy those original products. Let's just take macross frontier as an example. I happen to have Diamond Crevasse as my phone ringtone last time. And a friend of mine which is a girl seem to like it. So, I let her know it's a song from an anime series that is quite focus on songs. Then, i share her the OST n whole anime series but the series is "ahem" cause I only own few original anime series due to the crazy expensive price but the OST is original. She seem to like it and under my encouragement, she "tumpang" my order and get an original macross OST for herself as well...

So, my point is in order to change the way a community, try influences those around u first.
