my fc (65%highway, 35% urban).. $70 @ 36.5 ltr = 450km.. if 100% urban, i guess = 410km at least..

should be better if i drive slower..

it is seriously underpower. pickup sucks, but top speed and handling is just nice for me. personal best record of 185kmph on kesas, just before christmas  biggrin.gif the intro-paper thingy says it's max speed is 175kmph. lol.

the way i drive, i tend to keep it around 2k to 2.5k rpm, usually reaching 80kmph to 90kmph, sometimes 100kmph if it's a smooth and clear path. i don't like to press brake, most of the time i just let go of accelerator and the car slow down itself, because if i do brake, i will have to rev high to pick up fast enough before people start flashing headlights or worse, bang my car.  blush.gif

never clock the time before, but it sucks when it comes to racing. i had troubles following friend's car too, mainly because of the slow pickup. on the bright side, i know i won't be racing with anyone.  rclxms.gif

i'm happy with my 1.3 gen2. it's fine, with more power it could be better. i hate the kesas highway cheras stretch where you have to go up hill. my car's engine sounds like it's going to explode soon. maybe it's because of the car's weight, cuz i don't see myvi having problem going uphill.

the 1.3 is auto rite?
try to shift manually when at the cheras stetch... have problem with my previous less powerful cars too. but rev hard and it will go. smile.gif

for me if u wanna some power why not u buy evo 9...for me proton aint not that bad....reasonable price for those who cant affort to buy the imported brands...or for 2nd cars
*
then go ahead and but a evo9 for urself.... most of us here either can only afford a sub 60k car of prefer to invest in other things rather than dump money in an expensive car...

2" for NA fine, but whole piping must be 2" also lor.. bo lui to change whole piping system yet, so yeah I guess losing a lot of compression sad.gif the sound damn nice though thumbup.gif
*
2" is ok, but u have to have a good extractor and a mid box... postion of the mid box is also important if u wanna mantain power or torque. i myself am running a 4-1 extractor standard mid and a marco stright flow... its not the best setup but its not too bad either... the most important thing to remember is not to have different size pipings on the system... if u have to, only do it from smaller to a bigger diameter. what i can see is some ppl will change a 2" mid box to the stock 1.8" piping and complain power is bad.... dont trust exhaust shops that tell u this is ok....
