I'm convinced that VR is going to be the next big thing. It will be here to stay but whether that happens in this iteration or the next is the question. I thought of going for the Oculus, but I'll probably need to spend close to RM10k to get one plus a decent PC so I might just buy PS VR instead. Sony doesn't have a great track record of successfully pushing things with the Playstation brand that's not the core consoles, so I hope PS VR won't die limply too. QUOTE(SSJBen @ Oct 1 2015, 05:30 PM) ... I'm surprised the person didn't file an insurance claim for neck injury... Wow I remember trying this thing out in an arcade all those years ago. I think it was a robot shooting game.. I recall the graphics being trash and the frame rate was so terrible. VR was not ready then.

So can we not buy & download VR-only games from the MY PSN store yet? I want everything ready to go when we get our units tomorrow.
Nvm, apparently they don't surface it very well. You have to search for each game individually. What a dumb interface.

Ready for VR Day. Going in with Thumper, VR Worlds, Battlezone, Batman, Keep Talking, Tumble, Rez Infinite, and Job Simulator. Been slowly getting my VR legs over the past week playing Rigs and Battlezone at a friend's - lets see how I fare now.

Why y'all buying discs? Seems it would be cumbersome to switch games while wearing the headset.

Thumper in VR is the closest I'll ever get to a religious experience. Holy crap that game is even more amazing in virtual reality. Level 5 absolutely kicked my butt, can't wait to get back in.
Best use of PS VR so far is Rez Infinite's Area X. If you've got a PS VR, you owe it to yourself to play this thing. It's not too long, but there are few other games that can make me go "holy shi*t" like Area X did.

I loaded up a few games on PS VR again after a long break and I got woozy after playing a while. I guess VR legs is a thing you can lose if you don't keep up with it.
Willl have to build up the immunity again to prepare for Farpoint. The game has full locomotion right?
