in regards to project scorpio, will wait and see. i kind of expect it to be xbox one 'pro', but a lot more powerful, blurring the lines of pc and console. with the direction ps4/ps4 pro/xbox one/scorpio is taking, are we seeing the beginning of the end of 'true fullblown' consoles? i think VR did somehow changed their mindsets a bit although ms and sony taking different approaches to this.
i will wait before deciding to get ps4 pro or scorpio or nintendo switch for that matter. but what is real right now is that the masses have a chance to experience VR due to the price point despite its video quality of the current games.

No matter how high tech or very well specced machine this Scorpio is going to be... but as long as Microsoft refuse to OFFICIALLY support the console in Malaysia, I will have to say fly kite to their product here. Having owned an xbox360 before, it's damn annoying when things go wrong with the machine and you do not get locally official support.

Their loss really... I just firmly attach myself to PSN eco system. Very little exclusive games these days anyway

I'm referring to the 3DS and its games, it's mind boggling how much they can keep selling to this day.

Portability. Streetpass. Commute on train rides. This is very much so in Japan where you public transport a lot. So portability makes it very accesible and practical compared to owning a console at home fixed location.

And they are more practical over game play compared to graphics.. basically graphics is not the be all end all deciding factor. If the game the enjoyable, then it's playable..

Unlike quite a lot of western game where emphasis is on graphics and gameplay only lasts like... 8 hours max gameplay? Then it's time to sell the cd to secondary market..
