I believe it does come with both items for each PSVR unit.

You're lucky to get it fast, I think that's the day they ship out. I ordered on Tuesday and GDEX came on Sat.
Demo disc in not inside the blue-white box, it's outside.

Check your Delivery order to see if the free item there...

I think a lot of matters are not setup properly in Sony Malaysia.
Website has bugs, email sent from Sony has wording mistakes. Notification of order approved was only sent monday morning whereas item came on last saturday.
Credit card transaction has to be done via phone and not through website.
I created an account in Sony, got email saying my account number and password in clear text!!.

I tried once before, connecting to notebook and play just a normal 360 VR video using a VR player ... but the thing is, we're only viewing the whole thing in cinematic mode, PSVR can't detect and switched to VR mode ... saw the reddit post about how a Japanese guy tricked the PSVR to show more than cinematic mode when connected to PC, but it's still not full 360 degree VR.

If anybody here managed to get PSVR showing full 360 VR, quickly mention here first oo ... this thread will be famous. 
If it could show normal 360 VR, then using a supported VR player, 360 3D SBS/OU video should be viewable too.

How to watch VR on PSVR + PC

    First follow the directions above.
    Once the PSVR and PC are connected, download Go Pro VR app on PC
    Go to vr site, download 360 videos in 3D format.
    Put files in separate folder on USB drive or PC desktop
    Open Media Player app
    Put on your Playstation VR headset and enjoy 🙂

How to watch 3D SBS videos on PlayStation VR

    Right click, select display settings, and select “Duplicate these displays.”
    Open a web browser and visit 3D-VR-360 Videos Youtube Channel.
    After selecting a video enable the video in full screen.
    Press play.
    Put on PSVR HMD.
    Enjoy.
