Hi. Sry new to VR equipment.

I know this must had been discussed before but i didn't have the opportinuty to browse through 20+ pages. Do anyone have a recommendation where to get the VR set pls? Recommended from SONY stores or from local seller? Price range at RM1849? No need to preorder? (unless there are stocks limitation issue during launch which im not aware of)

I'm still considering to buy PSVR or not lol.
The longer I wait the better, kinda

A bit with you on this Rei.

The price range is within acceptable range for a new tech device. Considering this is not a tech upgrade, but total new concept and launch.

But no major game that is superbly must-get atm. Except for Eve Valkyrie and FFXV VR perhaps?

But hope to hear some feedback from the players. The VR experience would be a blast when share with family and friends. Its an easy Wow factor. blush.gif

Gonna publish a "First Look" article on the VR very soon. Stay tuned, as we have gathered feedback of players who tested it.

Tried PSVR in Sunway yesterday. At the startup screen it was great as you feel like floating in the PS menu. biggrin.gif

But have to say i was very disappointed with the pixelated graphic. Was testing Eve Valkyrie and compare to the youtube HD screen, PSVR graphic feels really like PS2 (no joke).. Cannot use utube HD graphic to compare.

Stocks will be ready in December 2016, but from what i seen, probably will skip it for now. Im curious:

1. The show staff said PS4 pro will not make a difference to the graphic u see now.
2. To enhance the graphic, its either you wait for dev software upgrade or PSVR2. lol..?

They said by December there will be a batch of stocks arriving. I didn't asked in detail whether those are preordered stocks or first come first serve basic. They their preorders/waitlist for VR are open now.

Rough understanding will be we will need PS VR + PS Pro + 4k TV + good Headset to get a good VR experience. Not counting move/eye. PS4 standard edition with VR... seems will not cut it.

Summer Lesson only available at Japan store at the moment; fully in Japanese. English version is coming out early 2017 if I'm not mistaken.

Robinson gameplay focused more on exploration and adventure, not much intense action. Some will find this game a little bit slow and boring. For me, I love exploring the spectacular landscapes in this game. The graphic is fantastic (this is after Pro patch), great sense of scale, immersive surroundings and I think this is the most detailed PSVR game to date. If you like exploring, solving puzzles, and dinasours!, this is the game for you.

Bonus - some screenshots that I took last night from Summer Lesson:  blush.gif

So, anyone completed RE7 in VR already?

I haven't completed the game yet, just got 'outside' the house, looking for 'mama'.  sweat.gif But, this is hands down, the BEST PSVR experience so far.

The ability to physically lean and look around corners to hide or search for enemies is at a whole new level. Immersion is impressive.
I'm using Smooth turning with speed increased to 8. Totally zero sickness and the movement is very fluid.
Seriously, those playing this on normal 2D. just stoppppp. Off your PS4 and go get a PSVR, then only resume.  devil.gif

I will be getting a PS VR because of this testament biggrin.gif

Any other promising game coming out for PSVR I wonder?

Just tried Air Force Special Ops: Nightfall a few minutes ago. Graphics and sense of presence are pretty good. Amazing that it's free. You guyz should try this. Can download from US PS Store.

VR 101 - always start with stationary game. You need to build your 'VR legs' first. For beginners, fast moving games like RIGS or Until Dawn is not the right way to experience VR for the first time.

I have high tolerance against 99% of PSVR games available out there - I can play with comfort mode OFF, but somehow RIGS will make me abit nauseous. There's something off about that game that I can't pinpoint - whether the frame rate or movement.

My point is, if you're new to VR, please start with stationary games first, like:

- PlayStation VR Worlds - Ocean Descent
- Allumette
- The PlayRoom VR

Then only move to fast moving games once you get your 'VR legs'

Most of the awesome PSVR games are not in MY PSN. I bought most of my games from US PSN instead.

My favourite VR games in terms of immersion, sense of presence and graphics:

1. Resident Evil 7
2. FARPOINT (with Aim Controller)
3. Mortal Blitz
4. EVE Valkyrie
5. End Space
7. SUPERHOT
8. Archangel
9. RAW DATA
10. SPARC
11. Rez Infinite (Area X)

...and alot more actually.
