QUOTE(lucas114 @ Jul 5 2014, 08:03 AM) The sub-limit of RM30 cash rebate for E-Commerce purchases shall apply starting from 28th July 2014. Refer to the FAQs. Thanks for the info. Very sneaky of them. Gonna cancel it and probably apply for UOB/PBB VS.

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Jul 14 2014, 10:56 PM) So many limitations. Don't get me started on the stupid airline thing. If you want to give rebate, just give, don't tell me the MCC can that MCC cannot. Brilliant planning, lousy execution. +1 on this. Wanna give then sincerely give la.

Bugger. What a mistake. My Xiaomi transaction on 15th July afternoon was recorded as 14th. Not only I don't get the chance to get the 10% off but now I need to pay cross border fees as well.

QUOTE(DarReNz @ Aug 6 2014, 02:10 PM) pay later might not be entitled to online cash back but u can always argue it with CRU of CIMB and Bank Negara You can't argue if the transaction is not Posmode 81. It's already stipulated in the Terms & Conds.

QUOTE(fuu @ Aug 8 2014, 11:13 AM) Has anyone read in details the FAQs on the CIMB Cash Rebate MasterCard Programme vers. 3? I would like to enquire on the category of E-Commerce/Online Spend (cash rebate 5.0%) where the Eligible Merchants/MCC is POSMODE 81. I tried to search for the list of Merchants under POSMODE 81, but there seems to be none. My question is: Does e-commerce/online spend means anything that I pay online such as clothes, health products etc? Or only certain listed merchants under POSMODE 81? Thank you. Well, technically all online transaction is classified under Posmode 81 (Those that uses Mastercard Securecode are guarantied to be Posmode 81). However, there are some merchants that does not process your purchase online. They gather all your CC details and then process it manually. These merchants are not eligible for the discount but so far I've only encountered 2 of them.

QUOTE(fuu @ Aug 21 2014, 11:33 AM) I used my cimb cash rebate card to pump petrol@shell this morning. I only pumped RM 52, but received an sms that a transaction of RM 200 was charged to my card *shocked* Which amount will be reflected in my end-of-month statement? When I checked my online statement, the amount RM200 was deducted from my credit limit Another thing is I used the card to shop online 2 days ago, the credit limit was also deducted, but the item did not appear in estatement. does it usually take a few days for CIMB to update their online transaction? My experience with MBB2Cards is the transaction usually appear immediately or at most 1 day after that. Tq. 1. They will just hold your RM 200 limit for a few days. Your statement will be reflected as RM 52. 2. CIMB is pretty slow on their posting. Normally it will appear 2-3 days after your transaction.

QUOTE(sangaran @ Aug 27 2014, 12:34 PM) I see not much ppl able to get the GST waived. But a month before the anniversary, I called them and request for cancellation. A week later they called me back asking me the reasons, and I said I do not want to pay for the GST. Then immediate he tried to retain me by saying that RM50 will be debited into my account within a month. Well, I did get the RM50 debited into my credit card! Btw, I only used this card only once in this year! I called to get GST waiver but rejected. Do not dare to threaten them because I cannot afford to cancel this card yet. If they cancel and don't retain me, I will be on the losing side.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Aug 27 2014, 03:58 PM) haha you better don't let them see your post here..but why cannot cancel, you have any installments tied up? I mean I'm getting an average of RM 30-40 cash back per month from them. If I cancel, I'm sure they are gonna reject my application if I apply within 3 months or so.

QUOTE(Devil4life @ Aug 29 2014, 08:33 AM) Want to ask the additional cash rebate is given the same statement or the next statement. I made few purchases using GSC online which supposed to be given 15%. However, I don't see it in my latest statement yesterday. Or the rebate is not applicable if I purchase the RM10 promo ticket from CIMB? The rebate will be classified under "Additional Cash Rebate" and will be normally be credited few days after the statement date. Normally between 30th and 2nd.

Anyone got anything from the "Online Cash Back Campaign 15 July to 15 Sept" yet? Not everyone can qualify for PBB VS Not yet. I did a transaction on 12.05am on 15th July and so far there's nothing yet.

QUOTE(SkYY @ Aug 31 2014, 10:28 PM) ahh ok got it What is the monthly cycle of the RM30 cap for cash rebate? Is it calender month or my bill cycle or ? QUOTE(DarReNz @ Sep 1 2014, 01:54 AM) It's NOT calendar month. It's bill cycle. But the statement date is on 28th, so it looks like a calendar month but it's actually not.
