Checked my CL from CIMB Clicks and I got close to 4x of my monthly salary. If to calculate based on ratio, CIMB is the most generous among my other cards. The rest only gave around 2.5x or 3x.

QUOTE(anarchy2cruo @ May 12 2015, 02:39 PM) Congrats with you guys CL. Me unlucky one I guess. 1st cc was mbb they gave at least 2x my salary. 2nd cc was this cimb rebate only gave me 0.8x my salary. 3rd cc which was I just got at least gave me 2x my salary as well. CIMB is not generous towards me. QUOTE(XCloudz @ May 12 2015, 02:51 PM) QUOTE(laymank @ May 12 2015, 02:57 PM) Why need 2 when 1 is all that you need. The 2nd card is a generic card that gets you 1 bonus point per RM1. The agent also told me the same and I told him, I don't need another card to collect points.knowing the current trend of bonus point reward, I rather not, even if it's free. I will just stick to the Cash Rebate Plat. |

So many CS confirmed that my card was sent to the office yet eventually sent to my permanent residence which has nobody at home. It is back in my hometown and my sister went back yesterday and saw there was a slip left by Poslaju.
Immediately called them last night and got really angry with them. I kept on following the status but yet nobody bothered to call me back after checking the tracking details. Probably knew they screwed up already and don't dare to call me back. Anyway, I was really angry and they said they need to get the card sent back to their HQ and resend to my office. I said I will not accept this kind of service and solution. Finally, the guy said will request to block the old card and resend a new card to my office without waiting for the old card to go back to HQ. Let's see. Simple instruction. I have put in my email and even in my application form, card to be sent to office. Like that also can screw up. |

QUOTE(cappuccino vs latte @ May 14 2015, 11:23 PM) I had also requested the card send to my office but end up sent to my resident address. Sigh, those days with Direct Access, it was sent to my office with no issue. I have to travel to pos office during weekend to pick up my card. I think CIMB outsource the work to contractor. I saw my card being sent out from Pos Laju Cheras. The contractor must be reside some where in Cheras. |

QUOTE(cappuccino vs latte @ May 14 2015, 11:45 PM) Beside, last time they allow me to pick up the card at one of the nearest branch. Now not allowed anymore. Same for the cheque book, they only have option deliver to house. Yeah, correct. Due to this mistake, I actually requested to collect from KL Sentral branch but they didn't allow... He was saying sending to my office will be faster. |

QUOTE(David83 @ May 15 2015, 09:07 AM) I called the CS (CC dept and CIMBClicks dept). That's very strange because I already have an existing CIMB Clicks account and they just auto-linked for me.The CC dept can't do anything as they asked to call the CIMBClicks dept. The CIMBClicks dept asked to send my details to cimbclicks@cimb.com I question them about the security since so many personal details are being sent via email. They said no concern as long as it's sent to correct address. I asked if can do it at the branch, they said no as the branch will refer back to the CIMBClicks dept. I thought it should be done automatically without being asked. As an ex-MMU student, I think you have an existing CIMB account right? |

They sent me a new card and I received it today and at the same time, they also requested to resend my old card from my mailing address to my office address but the card has been canceled earlier.
So two cards came at the same time. Anyway, activated and case closed for my CIMB Cash Rebate. By the way, for those received with TnG Zing Card, how does this thing work? Will it come as a separate card? I didn't receive anything for it so I will assume mine doesn't have any linkage with Zing right? That was my request actually. |

QUOTE(David83 @ May 18 2015, 02:48 PM) I received the Zing card in the same package with my CC. OK, just took out and flipped through all the documents. Pretty thick package I must say, I didn't see any Zing card. So, I guess that's excluded already. RM 10 has been charged to my CC also. I called CS regarding this. She said that it'll be waived in the next bill cycle. Thanks for the information! |

Guys, since this card gives 5% rebate for online transactions. I'm not sure if it is a wise move to link this card to my PayPal and Google Play? Currently my OCBC Ti is linked to these two platforms but my OCBC Ti will be replaced with OCBC GE Plat soon which offers 1% for online transactions.
I'm not sure if cross border transaction fees imposed for PayPal or Google Play? |
