QUOTE(rav3n82 @ Mar 27 2014, 01:16 PM) Think of it as a HDD on steroids. Though they come in smaller capacity (120GB should be fine), the speed gain is pretty worth IMHO. OS boots up faster, accessing files is faster, games load faster too. alright bro not sure i need it or not. can suggest other option to psu and Viewsonic VX2370S Monitor RM519 ?

QUOTE(Zgames @ Apr 21 2014, 09:14 PM) Hmmm well Leadtek GTX 760 RM 799 would do good. But you need to oc it yourself to get it on par with the phantom. Imo the Gainward Ref 760 looks nice I think 789-799 Alright then but i dunno how to oc and stuff haha. Zotax 760 amp! worth it or not?

Hi guys, right now im installing the gainward gtx 760 phantom to my asrock b85m pro4. I also have tplink at pci 2.
The problem is if i put my gpu at pcie 1 which is pcie3.0, it block both the pci 1 and 2 where i put my wifi card.
Can i put my gpu at pcie 2 slot so that i can use my wifi card? Would there be any diff on performance? Thanks

QUOTE(Zgames @ Apr 23 2014, 12:00 AM) Nope. Don't think it'll affect much. Maybe like 1-2 fps difference but that isn't clearly visible to our eyes thanks bro QUOTE(rav3n82 @ Apr 23 2014, 08:08 AM) If not mistaken, the second PCI-E lane runs at x4, as compared to normal x16 on the first lane. I would recommend running it at the first, since you will suffer some performance hit. thanks bro. QUOTE(Clem1982 @ Apr 23 2014, 08:50 AM) that's one of the may hiccups in using a smaller mobo, the layout of the B85M pro4 will definitely place the wifi card very close to the intake of the GPU, but given that it's a Phantom cooler so its a dual fan right?? no big issues there but temps will rise a few degrees compared when you have a little more space.. this is true to my HD7850 as well when I was using an M-Atx board and wifi pci card a USB wifi dongle may be the best solution here, else get a pci-e wifi card and stick it at the bottom PCIe lane I wouldn't recommend this, 8x pci yes no apparent difference but at 4x you're losing more performance +1, my thoughts exactly yeah few hours after that i found bottom is x4. which usb wifi dongle you recommend? since i have to sell my pci wifi card.

QUOTE(Clem1982 @ Apr 23 2014, 11:39 AM) Not to say it's the best but I installed the D-Link DWA 130 for my folks at home which seems to work pretty well across 2 walled partitions over 6 meters http://www.dlink.com/us/en/home-solutions/...s-n-usb-adapterQUOTE(cle900706 @ Apr 23 2014, 11:44 AM) QUOTE(alfiejr @ Apr 23 2014, 11:45 AM) You can get usb wifi dongle instead which will work as well. I'm also having trouble installing my sound card because of the blocked pci slots. Should have gotten the pcie version instead. thanks everyone for suggestion later ill go viewnet, hopefully they can trade in my current wifi card
