online sellers, there are plenty in Trade Zone, you can try finding in Facebook too
1:3 ratio is fine, what I'm guessing is you one shot spray too thick layer, the part ended 'soak' in thinner
you should spray a few thin coats, allowing time to dry between each coat

might be bro... because on leg part i did spray more it hapen to crack.. on other parts which i spray less its look ok at the moment, does the bootleg model need any special kind of thinner? im using MY Hobby Leveling thinner

correct me if I am wrong, but that is lacquer thinner?

if yes, B or not, it will be bad against ABS type plastic (hence new MG now highlight that it uses PS plastic frame)

also, do not use self-leveling thinner on ABS plastic, Self leveling means it is premixed with retarder. This will result slower drying time for the lacquer thinner and paint. This is good since it allows the paint to self-level before drying. This is bad for ABS plastic since the plastic is exposed to wet thinner longer.
Can I ask what you did?

1. Spray continuously without letting the earlier coat dry (cause it looks like the layer is thick)

or

2. You mist the first coat, then let the first coat dries. then apply another. (the concept is rather to cover everything with one pass, you complete the work with 2 or 3 thinner coats)

as the pic above i just use this thinner mixed with Mr.Primer Surface 1:3,

Yes i think i over spray the model ( my bad first time airbrush )

now spoil is already spoil... cannot do anything sad.gif but i have other kits to airbrush as well... yes other kits also bootleg. can i use this thinner again or i need to get any other brand like tamiya or Mr.Hobby

I will pratice to make a thin layer rather than spray much

[/spoiler]

Ratio I normally used is 1:2, whether for primer or paints. Sorry for your loss though, that really is a ver nice kit....

Anyway, regarding daban MG Nu Ka, here's my wip so far, remaining the much dreaded fin funnels...

Great kit, snap fitting perfect, plastic feels like ori, just need some trimming here and there, no big issues, recommended thumbup.gif

very nice bro..... since im heart broken with my kampfer.... tonite gonna start my daban MG Nu Ka while waiting for another kampfer.

by the way which thinner and primer are you using... i dont want end up with another failure.....

Can't remember them, I'm working rite now, so I can only let u know tomolo morning, pai seh....

Regarding washing the parts, it is recommended to wash them b4 painting, but I'm the lazy type who didn't tongue.gif
Also, I seldom prime my kits, unless I'm changing its colors from darker type to lighter ones.

.
hope to hear what primer you are using....

Thanks in advance
