About mobo, i saw in the list that many of u guys using Biostar mobo. Is it really good? How's it it compare with MSI K9N Neo? In terms of OC-ability and support(driver).

And, is it enough to OC 3600+ to 2.5GHz using only stock cooler?

biostars t-force cheap with solid caps.. good for oc..

can.. try 2.7 better..

Brisbane core has a P/N ending with DD. CZ is the Windsor core, stepping F3, also another lovely overclocker. CU is the normal Windsor, which although can overclock, takes a lot of effort.

And yes, you can overclock to at least 2.8GHz even with the stock cooler if you're using a DD or CZ; keep an eye on temperature though. 3.0GHz is not difficult if you have a better cooler.

to reach 2.8ghz u probably have to lower the divider of ure rams if u r not using d9s

try TC's "Core Temp" - A program for accurate K8 temperature monitoring
it monitors the cpu proc with internal component.
So far my my case, the reading is a lil different ftrom mobo's probe

No...Core temp shows the hottest temperature in each cpu core.

Brisbane's DTS spoiled already as claimed by AMD.
Therefore, the core temp which is shown in the CoreTemp is no long correct

For Brisbane, the only temperature you can rely on is ur CPU Temp. But that reading is not the hottest temp as CoreTemp.

still havent fully explore this mobo but for your answer, its 2.1v at stock bios.
