amd x2 3800 (am2) biostar tf550 mushkin ddr2-800, 1gb x 2 gigabyte 7300gt 256mb acbel 450 watt creative audigy 2 p/s: can the psu support my current hardware? i did ask in the technical section coz my cpu hangs even after changing to new proc, mobo and ram..one of the answers said that my hardwares overload my psu..for your info, my cpu randomly hangs, but only the window background, except the mouse pointer..i need to restart by reset button..any idea why? i've reformatted the drive several times already.. |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Jan 28 2007, 08:13 PM) the jumper is supposed to lock the Vdimm at 2.2V. i've flashed to the latest bios..the first thing i do before i start ocing..i've read some reviews on the same type of ram and it can do 2.2v to achive 280fsb..so hopefully i can also do that..i suggest that you set your desired ram speed/timing in bios first, then save bios, and shutdown. then set the jumper to 2.2V position and then boot the system. the reason why it cannot boot at default setting with 2.2V is maybe because the ram dislike high voltage. have u flashed to the most updated bios? |
