Welcome to the the world of CVT! Other than the engine exploding noise and the lag when you start to move... you will pretty much love the car. Beats most entry level Japanese makes hands down especially highway driving. I own mine since 2012, 1st batch... no regrets

Hello Sifus, please comment if can:

1. My Preve Exec suddenly looses power like almost going to stall when I shift back to D immediately after reverse with my steering turned. Engine jerks for about a second then goes back to normal. I did not shift stick too suddenly after reverse.

2. When idling for longer periods, can hear a thump sound coming from engine.
