Fuel consumption is good for outstation travels Drove my wife's Preve CFE n on full tank I cover up to 700 km to Kota Baru with no fuel warning signal yet. On truck roads average 80-90 km/hour n on highway 100-110 km/ hour. I use Shell ron95 Town driving with lots of stop n go traffic highest ever achieved was 550km Both me n my wife are not fast drivers n we always keep to speed limits

QUOTE(Xu3r @ May 11 2014, 10:03 PM) Rofl 5 years only 40k So basically you only drive 22km per day only ? My wife's Preve averages only 5km/day. She takes the car out only 1-2 times per week. Different people different lifestyle lah!! I drove the car a few times to KL n Spore just to get the engine burn in as I believe too low mileage is not good. Two months ago longest drive was to Kota Baru travelling 1500km Car performance is excellent n outstation fuel consumption was excellent . With near full tank 750km with fuel still left n indicator showing another 150 km still possible

The only noise I have was backseat some minor rattling sound. That was easily fixed within an hour at service center Had been using this car since Sept last year n has no serious complains about it I would say is good value for money vs the Honda, Toyota, Kia etc

Batu Pahat EON service center is excellent . After each service the mechanic will even tell n advise me some care tips. My wife's Preve had been sent in for 1000,5000 n last was 10000km. Each service takes no more than 2 hours including wait time.

Different drivers different style of driving n this affect fuel consumption . A heavy foot driver will burn up more petrol My wife's Preve ( CFE) on full tank can go up to 850km on highway at approx 100 to 110 km/hour. In town not much traffic jam full tank can be up to 600 km at average speed 60 to 80 km/hour We dont push our cars hard , just normal driving only

Fuel consumption heavily dependent on one driving style. We don't push our cars hard. For the Preve (CFE) full tank in town driving minimum 540km ( 60-80 km/hour Max) to sometimes 580km. Outstation highway 100-110 km/hour minimum 750 km n once we hit even 850km

QUOTE(plumberly @ Jul 2 2014, 08:23 PM) I think I may have used the wrong word. Instead of shaky, maybe "vibration" is better. Due to engine and/or suspension? After Preve, i tried Suprimo, it was better but still more "vibration" than my expectation. The car sales man said that demo Preve is 2 yrs old and it has done a lot of trips to the country side for sales demo. Bad demo to use for customers as I have told him. Read in the web on one Perve review saying something about this "vibration" due to big engine size and the tight front engine compartment. Really, try Almera and you will see the difference. So quiet and smooth. but lack power. Cheerio. I tested the Preve ( CFE) and Almera too. Dislike Almera as safety features loses out n its handling so much poorer..design too plain n needed topup another rm10000+ to make it looks better!! Almera pickup very poor n is less comfortable vs the Preve. Absolutely no vibration problems on my wife Preve n now already in its 9 months usage
