Preve exec more fuel saving compared to? hmm.gif

Compared to the turbo version of coz. LOL. The sentence was pretty direct.

I'll be lurking here often as I'm torn between Persona or Preve (not so soon.. maybe 2-3 months from now) .. after taking Almera out of my options. Been 10 years driving the trusty ol' Saga with no major hiccups . I guess another gamble with proton won't hurt.

the difference is only year of make , inside all same .
some of the 2013 stock may come with original coil mat carpet , boot tray , security ecthing for chasis number on the glass.
is not worth to buy a 2013 even the discount is little bit more then 2014 stock becoz :
1. 2013 limited color available,  you may not get your favorites color
2. little difference (Rm2000 only ) on the discount
3. very old stock (4 months ++ put in stock yard ) ,some of them even a showroom unit

Yeah... talking bout color, thats a bummer too. I presume the official website is a bit outdated on this. Although I'm planning a wait-and-see move here before really placing an order, I;m looking forward to more color option (not too keen on light/silvery/white colors).

As long as the vehicle fulfills the terms & condition that Proton set.

Meaning previous owners had abide the policies in maintaining the car.. and the current owner should have all the documents to prove that.

But I suggest TS to go for New Preve with discount.... a lot of improvements already
*
Yea. but sadly the color choices still doesn't appeal to me at the moment. I saw one blue Preve about 2 weeks ago, compared the many many black, white and silver ones I encountered daily on the road.

Wondering if new colors will be offered in the next half of this year or next year or not.

another "weird" observation of mine is,
the travel is from PG-KL and KL-PG with same weight (me and my bro-in-law, no extra things/luggage) and used auto-cruise at 110km/h all the way
PG - KL >> used 5 bars of fuel
KL - PG >> used 3 bars of fuel

i observed this "behaviour" for few times ady, and i asked around whether its my own car "behave" like that or others' car "bahave" like that also.
but i didnt get satisfied result as some said the route KL-PG is more flat compare to PG-KL is more hilly.

Along the journey, I guess one direction have more roads going uphill than the other.

And sceptics will deny that too as usual. Either that or they ignore this benchmark during debate. I'm not yet an owner, but swaying towards Preve as the day goes by... c'mon Proton... gimme more color options . dang.

i called and asked ady bro. Its included and the price is 59K. Just wana make sure can trust or not before i go KL and see the SA. Cuz i stay at putrajaya. so no transport. Must go till KL. If can be trusted, then go there and proceed for other things
*
but half your journey is settled. take public transport to showroom , insist on test drive ... drive back to putrajaya.. then SA will do the rest. =)

hMM... pre 60k is very enticing. If only they're in Atlantic BLue. I only saw one Preve on the read in one of my preferred color, Atlantic Blue so far (and not... my eyes are OK and sharp, its not a Suprima )

Oh i don't care much about fuel consumption as i just travel a little only. May i know about the fuel consumption for anyone who have both cars? As i said that i'm planning on using the car for a long time so i want to know which is, well future-proof perhaps:P
The problem is not with engine or anything because i take care of my car like a baby. Lol. But the main problem is the size. The size is just to small for me. I'm a sports guy so i carry a lot of stuff in the trunk(boot). I can't crammed all my stuff into the boot space so i have to put it on the back at the passenger seat. As i'm lazy to go back and forth to the sports center to get the equipment, i just made my car like a storage or them. Lol.
*
Then you need a Suprima =)

Is it future-proof though? As my family already owned a persona so buying a second one is kinda weird actually. After the preve getting the ANCAP 5* rating, the safety and added feature is quite tempting for me to move towards the preve but the persona with atlantic blue is gorgeous though:0 haha.
*
OMG.... we think alike dude. U and I are almost in same dilemma but I'm 3 months earlier than u when the dilema started .lemme tell my story .

My current Saga LMST (manual) have been serving me well for 10 years and the recent jam really made my leg suffer, and the ride is no longer comfy (part of car ageing process I guess). These past months I see what options I have (within budget of coz) and Persona was in my radar. But then Preve suddenly sounded enticing with the safety features . Was aiming at the Executive (budget mah!) then slowly I've grown to take notice of the Premium ones albeit >10k more expensive.

Although there are many discount /clearance so far by Proton, one of the "personal" whim that prevented me from committing is the color. I'm hope they offer Atlantic blue preve soon . I can wait coz I most probably be expecting to use the ride for the next 10 years to come. smile.gif

Exagerrated comments by them I see: stuff like "rather die than use..." or "stay far far away" as if it will kill you/make your life like a living hell when you buy it.

I rather read through all 20 versions of the preve threads and read the +ve and -ve of LYN users so far , (then make conclusion) rather than one or few liners of paranoid friends who represents only ONE or few driver from the overall statistic.

Naysayers will react " if the car is good. they wouldn't get into accidents in the first place".
