yeah, if compared to dining. at least the major hypermarkets in malaysia like aeon big, tesco, giant all no problem. just afraid some smaller-scale supermarkets or overseas hypermarkets.

i think you can call in and ask HLB CS. I don't have my hardcopy statement with me, but after almost 2 years of HLB CC user, i've noticed it does get charged on the anniversary date (not month).

BTW, slightly OT but still HLB CC (for the benefits of other HLB CC user). I called in to cancel my HLB Essential, they actually call back with the offer to give me back RM50, to cover the GST. T&C is no cancellation for 1 year. If you do cancel, then penalty RM50.

I get my annual fee of rm300+rm150 and government tax rm50+rm 25. Can i apply to Waive the annual fee. It too high amt to pay.

MBB dual card. This is the first card you shall get when you are entitled for applying > 1 card.
But have to pay rm100 of GST, AMEX will have 5% of cash back(no restrictions at all, only restrictions on merchant due to they don't want to pay 4.5-5% of service charge, Master and Visa only charge 1-3%) on weekends. Not to mention 5X TP everyday by using AMEX. You can use the TP to offset the GST.
Some new card users are still paying rm50 of GST. When they charge you rm100, you can apply to get rm50 waived and the chances of getting waived are quite high, unlike WISE that will be wasting your time and phone call's charge.

yes, new users of mbb2cards can benefit from the new promo to get rm100 with 3 swipes, which solve the rm100 gst issue. even better than old users time where we need to use our hard earned tp to strike off the rm50 gst.

if using platinum (or above) for both mbb and hlb, the calls made to them is free (including using mobile phone) but provided you are calling in malaysia.
