May sound insulting, but it seems like she never learn what does money means. Also, buying at Joscu or high class places does not make a person "high" standard.
Try to educate her on this.
When I had 2 cards, always got people making fun at me on being stupid by forcing own self spending rm2000 a month on credit cards.
But now all those fellows stop making fun on me when they see me always have money to help others.
I tell them that : all this money are from those rm2000 I spent.
*
No worries, no offense taken.
Everyone is free to have their own views.
We have our own reasons to shop there, and I understand that not everyone feels the same. And it does not even occur to me that Jusco is a "high class" place as you mentioned.
We just shop there because we can do everything in one location (like watch movies, visit bookstore, etc.) in one day, and we enjoy strolling around in the ambiance.
Giant and Tesco are grocery shopping places, which of course have very reasonable prices, but just does not serve our purpose.
We sometimes spend more than 6 - 8 hours in the mall, and I cannot imagine doing the same in a Tesco.
Not saying which is better, just that different people have different needs and preferences.

I always avoid malls as window shop, window shop sure become shop shocking.gif
I won't spend 6-8 hours on window shop anyway hmm.gif
And I don't watch movie in cinemas, already have a decent hi-fi set, also to follow our minister's advice, change our lifestyle whistling.gif  So, screamyx for all thumbup.gif
In Seremban, the best book store is near to Tesco(which giving 15% store wide for members) and my wife hate 1U after we date there once sweat.gif
*
Well, as long as you're happy, more power to you.
I stay in Damansara, so I wouldn't know anything about Seremban.
On the contrary, both of us love 1U, as it serves our purpose.

Hey that's a good idea, get 2 cards and you get to select 4 categories.
I should consider that.

Saw this post. I already used Wise card for 1 year plus. Do everyone know this Wise card come with a card called GSC card? I was charge both annual fees for both Wise card and GSC card which is RM600 (RM300 each card)! and when I called and wanted to ask for waiver, the customer service said that you need to use at least RM100 for the GSC card to waive your RM300 annual fees! and when I said I want to cancel the GSC card, they said, these 2 cards are 1 pair, is a combo-pack. So you can't cancel individually. WTF?

You will be charged with RM600 annual fees for both cards. Think carefully before you subscribe. The agent won't tell you about this.
*
That's weird, never heard of such a thing.
Anyway, I only applied (and received) my WISE card, and I do not have the GSC card, so I do not think that they can say that these 2 cards are a "combo" or a "pair".
If you can apply for just one card, then logically you should be able to cancel just one card, individually.
The CS might be trying to pull a fast one on you, or maybe he isn't very clear about his product?

It's true, that's what a combo card card package. That's the reason I didn't get the gsc when I checked for the annual fee. But I'm abit regret as if I get it that time I'll get a free Fan by now.
*
Really?
Well, that's the first time I'm hearing this, to be honest.
I didn't even know they had a combo.
I just went to the bank to apply for the Wise, and the officer also did not say anything at the time.

Take note of the minimum average 2 transactions of Rm 100 each u need to perform every 3 days. Quite a hassle if charge it at physical merchant.
Unless you have a huge TNB n Mobile bills where you can split the bill to rm100 each and pay online.
*
Ah OK, I think I misunderstood your original post.
I thought we can select different categories for the principal and supplementary cardholders.
Sorry...haha.
Wishful thinking.

Some more can set postdated payment at weekend to earn 5%+2% CB.
Save one category slot from my WISE card.
*
Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing too...!
Set the payment to automatically pay on a weekend, to take advantage of the 5% cashback + 5x treatpoints.

If qualified, it is better to apply for this card as a principal cardholder. More value and benefit as compared to the supp cardholder.
*
Yes, I'm the principal cardholder.
Was thinking whether or not to get a supp card for the missus, but after doing my math, I determined that there was no further benefit of doing so.

If you frequently max out the CB, then no point getting a supp. In fact this wise card is one of the worst, as far as supp cardholder is concerned, IMO.
*
True, that.
In fact, I've already maxed out my Watami card, and nearly maxed out the Wise.
The only card that I have not yet maxed out consistently is my MBB AMEX.

I don't think sup card can have different categories with principle card. It's always the same categories for both.

My banker did mention clearly for the combo offer. But i rejected for the combo offer as she told me can't cancel the GSC combo card alone. If cancel must cancel both card.
*
I see.
I wasn't offered the combo offer when I applied for the Wise.
Seems like a rotten deal, this combo thing.

If your wife are entitled to apply by her own, better ask her to apply own.
Then you can have 5 categories to use.
*
True, but our monthly expenditure is already adequately covered, so having another Wise principal cardholder would no longer be of benefit.

Never.
But then I already get used to what HLB dirty tricks. Just want to show it takes 9 days to get it posted. Have to ask that petrol station on this matter(know them very well) hmm.gif
*
Sorry to hear about your bad experiences.
For me, fortunately for all my transactions, the period between transaction and posting dates are usually 2 - 3 days only.
Touch wood.

To be honest, i'd be very glad to have transaction posted in 9 days than in 2-3 days.. A transaction posted in 9 days have a potential interest free period of 59 days !
*
Yes that's what I thought too.
But anyway, to be honest, these days, I have so many transactions on my cards that I easily satisfy the 10 transactions requirement, so I do not really count the transaction or posting days anymore.
I just check to ensure that the charged amounts are correct.

Yup, that's why I need to ask that station to clarify this matter.
Even Maxis Pay should be take 1 working day, last month also take few days doh.gif
*
How do you ask the petrol station to clarify?
I'm not sure the workers there would even understand what are transaction and posting days.
Unless, maybe the station manager, I suppose.
