Just got mine at direct d. First impression the buttons is in the way. Should be placed higher . speed is OK. Screen at par with note 3. Feels right with the price offered. Value for money.

Most appreciated feature is the double tap to wake the screen.

Thanks for the link. Windows 8 no problem detecting device. However after enabling USB debugging still nothing happens.

Any advice? Done this before with previous devices but never with Huawei

Working  fine. Did you install the huawei usb drivers
*
do you mean that my computer detects it? yes it did. i can go through X1 files from my pc. however when i enabled the usb debugging, both drives dissappears (internal and external).

Then when i open helium it does nothing on both sides. nothing for like 5 minutes. any idea what may be wrong?

edit:got it already. i chose the 2nd option in helium

Is it local warranty? Meaning warranty by Huawei Malaysia.

I messaged him before, according to him, it is local warranty. However be reminded that they are closed on Sunday. That is the reason why I bought from DirectD, hands so itchy cannot stand it.

X1 vs N7 2013

I like stock android...But this X1 got many pro that I like.
Larger battery, expandable memory , much more compact , better camera , phone function what more did I miss?

Does Huawei device got many XDA dev support?

I agree on the screen.

On the processing power, I think samsung's device is always attending to some other side business, and then only us. This mediapad attends to me like nobody's business.

Edit: Does anybody know where to find cases like otterbox for this baby? looking through ebay but cannot find any.

Lol bro, I don't think you'll ever get Otterbox for this. Perhaps if this really took off in China, you could get some tough cases from there.

tongue.gif What I meant was...whatever cases...cap ayam also OK....as long as it can withstand small shocks and bumps, you know, we have little hands in the house sweat.gif

You might want to try lelong. They have Shake proof series case which I am using, quite good. But it does make your phone a little bigger.  tongue.gif
