Already bought mine from the guy who sell it on lelong.well im lucky to have the last unit.new stock will arrive on sunday according to seller.unfortunately only 3g model which is honor x1 instead of mediapad x1 available.as for me lack of lte doesnt bother me at all so i proceed and bought the phone.willbwrite my review tomorrow..

My noob review.

HUAWEI HONOR X1.

1.the full set.
-contains phone,charger and usb cable only.no earphone.

2.the size.
-thanks to it thin bazel the phablet are the smallest compared to other 7‘’ tablet in market.pocketable in my jeans and slack.
-size comparison with samsung galaxy mega ：



3.the display.
-full hd display.make it retina display,2k or even 4k.for me all those high resolution screen just a gimmick tools to compete and attract customers .i really dont need all that since im satisfied with hd display.i prefer to enjoy high resolution movies on my 42" tv compared to small screen like phone and tablet.take that aside the screen on honor x1 are clear and crisp and viewing angle is great.

4.the UI.
-its called EMOTION ui.well,not a fan of it .app drawer are not available so need to scroll left and right to see installed apk.got several pre installed themes and also can be downloaded.

5.the camera
-correct me if im wrong but honor x1 is the 1st device from huawei with 13mp camera.well i dont have issue with the camera except for the noise when under low light condition.

Front camera is great for selfie.how many people can u get in for group selfie with your phone? 2 3 Peoples?well thanks to honor x1 5mp and wide lens front camera easily can group selfie with 5 peoples wothout need to use monopod.lol.

6.The battery.
-when turned on 1st time the battery is at 55%.2 hours of sot,snap 50 pictures ,downloading 500mb of files and light browsing.i left the phone over night in standby mode with mobile data off.well,you be the judge.


7.the performance
-not a big fan on heavy gaming on phones.as long can browsing,light gaming,youtubing and reading manga smoothly im ok already.honor x1 perform well to fullfill my need.not as good as snapdragon800 but for sure better than most MTK chipset.

8.The special features.
-double tap to wake up.motion control,hover gesture and glove mode.

The phone will Send notification if there's any activities that consume lots of battery so u can have option to closed the apps.

9.The conclusion.
-huawei never failed me.this is.my 3rd huawei after mediapad 7 and d1 quad.its not wrong to say honor x1 is the best 7" phablet at the moment.of course there are cons with the model.no playstore,the ui is childish and cartoonist,looks awkward when using it for phone call but other than that,i have no issue.(at least at the moment)
-the phone are not officially available under huawei malaysia and probably will not since honor x1 are meant to be sell in china only.i bought it for rm1179 with shop warranty.for those who want honor x1 with local warranty,the model will be mediapad x1.same thing honor x1 lack of lte compared to mediapad x1.

I had a chance to play with 3c yesterday when i bought honor x1..the one i tried dont have app drawer also..

update on the battery..(for some reason my honor x1 stop charging at 99%.dont know why)

1.yes.support otg.

2.yes.with screen brightness set to 50% above.

3.bloatware not that much.

4.honor x1 dont have playstore.the one with preinstalled playstore will be mediapad x1.

5.mine is pre-applied with screen protector.so far using it naked since cases are not available in local market (i bought online from aliexpress and will be arrive soon)perhaps when mediapad x1 officially launched here the accessories will be easy to find.

will update before afternoon.transfering hd movie from my pc to tablet.

compared to my previous phone,this honor x1 really perform well on the battery.

already test.

watching frozen (1.5gb in size).battery at 91%.after 15 minutes battery dropped to 88%.

*also brightness was set to max.

suggest me 1 3d gaming since im not into gaming..

i used to have a phone and a tablet..but since im using x1 my phone is collecting dust inside my pouch bag. so yes im using it as my main phone right now.

awkward or not that is subjective.as for me who owned a really big palm ,the awkward feel is not there.the edges are round in shape.

below is the size comparison between x1 and 6.3" samsung galaxy mega.

yes i managed to install playstore.at the moment the only thing that annoyed me is the video playback of embed youtube in website and also video playback in fb where the streaming very lag it caused audio and video unsynchronized.youtube app running well without any issue.

i think so.the rom is not stable i guess.i bought ap set of honor 3c and the original firmware got lots of issue like video playback,restart problem and crashed all the time.end up flashing modified version of the b118 firmware..

no news so far but theyre going to launch p7 next month.perhaps together with mediapad?

3G version is honor x1 and only for china market.no playstore and any g apps pre installed..international version will be mediaoad x1.same thing with honor x1 except for its lte and g apps..

1.lag and android are best friend but still,compared to previous years,the lag on android nowadays are acceptable.it is far from reaching the annoying level.long story short,im ok with stock launcher.

2.so far i have no idea but supposed to be there somewhere in the web

3.at the moment i only encountered with youtube problem.other than that all ok.same thing happened to honor 3c which is also a model from huawei where youtube also got problem.there is solution for that and i think im going to try to do the same with my mediapad.will update later if succeed.

I install playstore by my self..i sync my gmail with my phone and so far no problem at all..
