Hi Prince J, I have yet to receive any notification for the bag that was out of stock when I bought it. Is it arrived yet?
Also, I am interested to install Hackintosh on my S5, I googled that I need to flash PremaMod bios. Stupid question but would that void my warranty? and I read some of the people here saying that there's an updated BIOS also, where can I get it and how can I update the BIOS?
also, does opening up the back of the laptop, to put in extra SSD etc void the warranty?

Hi PrinceJ, just curious about something. I bought an S5 earlier this year, but I did not add a second HDD back then. I understand that S5 would only have enough space if the HDD is the slimmer type( 7mm if not mistaken ), so my question is that if I did not add a second HDD back then, what's the default thickness of the HDD installed inside of my system now? just thinking if I can get another HDD in without needing to change the original one

QUOTE(Prince J @ Jun 8 2015, 05:01 PM) Hi kamaUshUsh, Your \ key is fine, registered all the keystrokes. If you wish you can send us your keyboard for 1 week, we can verify with factory if they can replace that keyboard for you specially. As for the Witcher 3 giveaway, you can participate in our FB giveaway, and we will pick the winners randomly. Hi BBXiong, What's your primary HDD? as I recall a 1TB 7200rpm non hybrid HDD.

Hi Prince, recently my laptop BSOD a lot, i figure it might have something to do with the recent malware infection that I have. I am thinking to format my machine later today, but may I know if i have any place to download all the drivers for S5?

Hi PrinceJ, bought an S5 early this year, and i notice that my CPU temp is going higher than it used to now. It easily shots up to more than 90C now. Thinking to open up to do some dust cleaning. May I know if that wouldd void the warranty?

QUOTE(Prince J @ Nov 4 2015, 02:37 PM) Hi BBXiong, You can try to turn off Intel Turbo Boost to get lower temperature. As for dust cleaning, you can send it back for dust cleaning service. just kinda curious, how do i turn off Turbo Boost?just seing the CPU reach 95C again makes me think that it's better off disabled if it doesnt impact my frame too much. I cant see that setting at BIOS.

QUOTE(Prince J @ Nov 26 2015, 10:42 AM) Enter "Control Center" at bottom right hand corner in windows. You can enable/disable turbo boost there. cant seem to find that. Did it another way, set the max processor usage to be 99% instead, that would also disable turbo boost. Now CPU temp is well below 70C almost all the time, very good improvement over the 90C last time.

QUOTE(tidurking @ Nov 30 2015, 06:38 PM) Wut model u using can't handle kah the illegear cooling system y need to off something offered by default I'm using S5, well, 90C with turbo boost is still considered kinda normal, and the fan isn't even kicking in at full speed yet. Forcing the fan to turn on full speed would drop the temp to 8xC again, i just didnt want to force the fan to 100% and wanted a more 'automated' solution, like turning off turbo boost since my games doesnt really suffer from CPU bottlenecking

Hi Prince, my CPU has been overheating. I suspect over the past year, dust started accumulate and heatvents are getting less efficient. May I know if it's against the warranty for me to open up my own unit to do dust cleaning?
I think mine might be more than just dust. I tried unvolting and underclocking using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, but the moment i start the stress test the temperature just shoots up crazily, as if the CPU has bad contact/fan isn't working well or something. I'll probably pay you all a visit tomorrow.

QUOTE(Prince J @ Mar 19 2016, 10:48 AM) You can try disabling Intel Turbo Boost, or reapply thermal compound. just tried reapplying the thermal compound. never exceed 83C on stress test already. Looks like the thermal compound is dried. Just wanna ask also, how long do we normally reapply thermal compounds? It never seemed to bother me too much on my old notebook

QUOTE(Prince J @ Mar 19 2016, 11:42 AM) For IC Diamond, you need to reapply within 1 to 2 years. alright, that explains. Thanks for the informations. I'll monitor my temps, at least I know what to look at the next time my thermal going crazy

Hi [Prince j], I have a problem that I have notice recently, and it has been affecting me on games that I am playing recently.
On BF4 or Batman Arkham Asylum, when I am moving with W key, i notice that after even releasing the keys, my character will still be moving for at least a few seconds. There are times that the 'W' key is registered for almost 10 seconds, making some of the scenes almost unplayable. Not sure if this is a Windows 10 problem, but I haven't been gaming much using keyboard until lately. I also tested with other keys ( ASD ) and the same behavior doesnt happen at those keys.
What's your advice at least on software side, so that I can verify if this is hardware related matter. And should I need to claim warranty, how long would it be?
