oh so for servicing, upgrades, etc, can't be done in penang? just a drop off point? I want to have something checked actually.

add on:

its because i'll so happen by chance to be in Penang for a full week, so I thought Illegear has a venue for on site checks, etc.
*
That won't be possible for checking on-the-spot, but you can drop off your laptop there smile.gif

Hi,  Prince J, I just do purchase today on Z5 Skylake with 970M. I forgot tick color calibration, is it important to calibrate the screen? If without how the quality, I am really picky on screen quality one.

Beside this I just notice it is under preorder, if I pick rush on, any beneficial since this is preorder item.

Hi andrew,

We can't rush preorder item.

Calibration is important for designer and photo editors.

Thanks.

Hi

Z5 has 4gb VRAM GTX960M, 8-cell battery, subwoofer and much better cooling than Q5.

Q5 has internal DVD rom.

Yeah Z5 is a very popular model but only list out as 2.1 system , where by Q5  are 2W Onkyo Speakers with SB cinema2.

Wondering what are the outcomes.

Suggest you to drop by and test them out smile.gif

Hi Prince J,

The Q7 only support 1 SATA and 1 m2.SATA drives.

Can the S7 support 2 x 1TB SATA (not m2.SATA) and built-in Blu-ray/DVD Writer drive or 1 x 1TB SATA Drive (not m2.SATA) and built-in Blu-ray/DVD writer drives?
Thanks.
*
S7 can support 2x 500GB or 1x 1TB HDD.

S7 cannot have built-in blu-ray drive.

Which other model support internal blu-ray drive?

Internal optical drive is kinda rare nowadays.

17" only Q7 and RX-17 EVO has it.

Suggest you to get external BD.

I worried about slow transfer rate with external blu-ray drive especially when burning movies.

If external drive, which make/model would you recommend?
*
Hi nitehawk,

You can choose the BD writer that can compatible with USB 3.0.

We suggest ASUS External Blu-ray Writer SBW-06D2X-U

QUOTE(LadyQ @ Dec 19 2015, 04:50 PM)
Hi bro. Can you suggest for me the best value-for-money set in 4 followed set ? The games I play are mainly FIFA and FIFA Online. According to the latest Illegear promotion:

- Z5 with i7-4720HQ, 960M 4GB, RAM 16GB DDR3: RM5006.

- Z5 with i7-6700HQ, 960M 4GB, RAM 16GB DDR4: RM5226.

- Z5 with i7-4700HQ, 970M 6GB, RAM 16GB DDR3: RM5606.

- Z5 with i7-6700HQ, 970M 6GB, RAM 16GB DDR4: RM6225.
Is the chip i7-4700HQ weaker than i7-4720HQ and i7-6700HQ ?

Thanks in advance  smile.gif

Hi ladyQ

For FIFA, 960M is already enough.
