Where is the 4k display for 17 inch ?

Actually I not heng screen resolution.. as long it's IPS screen can liao.. lol
I think laptop also won't notice much different ba.. So far I compare my z5 with my friend's 720p screen.. not much different.. lol
Just I can notice the better contrast of my z5 cuz it's using IPS screen.. The rest macam same.. maybe my z5 screen mia icon or thing is smaller.. haha
What I'm concern now is SSD and ram.. Hope the price faster drop ar.. So i can upgrade..

Nop.. definitely no.. If it's on ultra 4k settings, maybe can get 20-50 gua..
It depends on game.. try running it on Crysis 3 or AC IV/V.. or Watch Dogs..
Laptop gpu is not as good as desktop gpu.. desktop gpu so far max vram just 4gb..

So the 4k is just for kicks but if running game it will slow down ?
But can our eyes see 4k resolution ? I play game on ultimate / ultra setting like Tomb raider and Skyrim.. It will tired the eye when it's smooth and using very high texture.

Really burn my eye but the feeling is good for a smooth game man.

Your card is gtx980m 8gb vram.. so it sure can play at ultra settings without any lag.. Your card is the highest end in laptop ad.. until now..
Most ppl won't recognize any different between 4k and 1080p.. but under some circumstances where there is a lot of detailed texture then maybe you can see the different..
And most game don't support 4k yet.. you can try your Skyrim on ultra 4k.. I think you're playing it on 1080p currently right ?
And yes.. it will decrease your performance if you play on ultra 4k.. Cause laptop gpu is not as good as desktop gpu..

Even so.. Mobile is mobile after all. It's gaming on the move. At least I will be satisfied with the upcoming game especially GTA 5, the Witcher3 and latest Batman open world.

If I need to sacrifice FPS for a 4k resolution.. I rather NOT use 4k Resolution at all cause there is not so much game support 4k resolution and if it does.. it will be hard to notice it only you will notice the lag of the game most of the time.

You won't know how good is the amplifier.. Maybe after 2 years stop production ad.. For me it's not so reliable lar XD

play casual game gtx 970m is more than enough
why i go gtx 970m rather than 860m is because
future no need so fan to update anything can use amplifier
but as u say who know future it will support what
but since they say gtx 980 desktop card also can support
so future hope can mod psu then support more powerful card
