Just so you know, AMT fluid and manual transmission oil is totally different.

There is no automatic transmission fluid (ATF) needed for our Savvy.

Then you have a big problem looming.

You are supposed to use ONLY Elf Renaultmatic D3 SYN as your AMT fluid.

It will act as hydraulic fluid for the actuators.

The manual transmission fluid CANNOT be used for the AMT system.

What sort of mechanic do you have? 

4 litres of ELF Tranself NFJ 75W80

better sent workshop and use obd diagnos tool to check.
if they quote you more than 3k to fix it, you should consider to do engine conversion.
i just done my engine convert into passo auto early june, cost around 7k, then hassle free.
as you known, amt is an never ending nightmare
